I LOVE the look of this ceiling fan. Very stylish and looks good in my bedroom. It is so transitional, it goes with any style of decor, in any room. I also love how quiet it is on low and medium settings. The high setting is not as quiet, but not loud enough to keep you awake. Its still quieter than most.
The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because the light doesn't provide as much light as I would like. My room is painted a darker shade of blue, maybe if it were painted a lighter, airier color, the ceiling fan light would seem a little brighter. I still have a lamp on my night stand for additional light. I still love the fan and am glad I bought it.

Good quality fan. Motor is quiet and doesn't vibrate. Fan mounts close to ceiling. The remote has three fan speeds and turns the light on/off and dims if held continuously. The remote can also reverse the fan direction. Everything needed to install the fan was included, except a ceiling mount kit. Fortunately I was replacing an existing fan and was able to use the one already in place. The instructions were clearly written and illustrated. Most steps were fairly easy to accomplish with a few household tools and a step stool. The motor comes with a hook that attaches to the ceiling mount so you don't have to hold it up when making electrical connections. We have had the fan for almost a month. It definitely meets our expectations for quality and price.

Extremely happy with this ceiling fan!
Ceiling fan was extremely easy to install. It took my husband about 45 minutes to remove our previous fan and hang this one. It looks great. Super quiet. Great value for price.

Great looking & super easy to install
After not being too impressed with the in-store selection of Flush Mounted ceiling fans I headed over to the online selection and found this beauty of a fan!
Very, very easy installation of the fan and so easy that a single person can install it. I was replacing another fan so the in-ceiling fan hardware was already there.
I was impressed by the hook that is installed on the mounting bracket to hold the motor while you attached the wires, what a great idea!
The light is dimmable, even thought the product description says it is not.
Only issue that I had was the frosted glass globe was slightly cracked, but after calling the support line they were apologetic and are sending out a replacement globe. They were very helpful and nice.

Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, we're sorry to hear that you are having this issue. This is easily resolved by changing the dip switch settings in the remote and receiver. Random operation is a result of the fan receiving an interfering signal from another device in the area. Changing the dip switch settings will change the frequency of the fan signal to eliminate this issue. The dip switches are located in the battery compartment of the remote and on the receiver in the motor housing. The switches can be set to any combination of up or down as long as the settings in the remote and receiver match. If the problem persists, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-434-2678 and one of the team members will be able to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Defective
Fan would work, light would work, just not at same time. Received new receiver, no instructions. Paid to have it installed, now I have to pay to repair my brand new fan. I would definitely not recommend, very poor quality when you get a new product that is defective.

I normally don't do these reviews, but some of the negative reviews I read are just wrong. I'm not a pro & not an HD fanboy. This is the easiest fan I've installed to date. I really like this particular remote. The dimmable LEDs are plenty bright. Only negative... it doesn't move a lot of air.

Ordered on-line and arrived in a couple of days. Nice quality fan, easy installation and most of all, it works nicely the first try and is very quiet.
I purchased this one because it was one of the nicer ones that actually mounts flush to the ceiling without a downrod of any kind.

Love this fan! We bought one for the master...
Love this fan! We bought one for the master bedroom and another for our daughters bedroom - I love that the fan has a remote and it is extremely quiet. Also the light is LED and is brighter than I expected. It lights up the bedrooms very well. Can't get better than that!

It is a large bulky fan. Assembly wasn't too difficult. I was disappointed that the fan blades only have one color. Generally, ceiling fan blades have two-sided blades to choose from. It's been installed for two weeks now and I've noticed that it makes a noise when the fan is on. It sounds as though the fan is turning on and off, so we'll have to take it apart again and make sure all the connections are complete. Overall, a good fan.
