I bought this product in June 2015 Thru Home Depot. The product was everything i expected, It arrived on time at my doorstep without damage... Very easy setup clean Stainless all metal appearance very pleased with my choice on the Glacial bottom load cooler. I have own multiple coolers in the past this is the first of a self cleaning unit and am very pleased with this purchase runs very quit noise from filling the tanks and system cleaning itself is not that loud and very normal for a bottom load unit. So don't be put off the unit runs virtual unnoticed the led light is great it lights the unit no need to turn on lights in the middle of the night you can easily see how to get a cold or hot glass of water. Stainless steel look is very impressive addition to our kitchen we use Spring water in the unit and the water is always cold or hot when we need it and has a clean taste to the water. Thanks for a great cooler... I recommend this unit to my family and friends and anyone looking for a great bottom load cooler. Jeff R.

Ok, so I got this water cooler based on the good reviews. When i received the cooler, I also got a piece of paper saying I was eligible to a one year warranty extension IF I WAS WRITING A GOOD REVIEW somewhere on internet about this cooler? Really ? That’s how company works now?

Bought this product and had a problem a little after the warranty was over. Both Home Depot and the cooler company, Electrotemp Technologies were fantastic. They replaced my cooler with a new one! Could not ask for more. Thank you!

Works great. No problems. Hot water is very hot and Cold is very cold, just as advertised. It is slightly noisy but not terrible. Good quality machine. Definitely recommend.

The brand is from Whirlpool and very quiet cooler. So far it's meeting our expectation. Easy to install and no issue encounters so far.

After seeing another review about the noise created while cooling water I wasn’t surprised. It was a easy fix as we put a planter on top to stabilize the lid and it quit. Does everything else it’s supposed to.

Love it ,no more lifting 5gal.bottles.

Exactly like a much less costly cooler I purchased at Costco, which has failed. The name and exterior are the only difference. Fear of this failing also.

We have been using this water cooler for 2 weeks. It keeps water much cooler than the previous unit we had. We do like the added feature of the LED lights, and especially knowing it is self-cleaning to eliminate concerns with bacteria inside the unit. It does make noise as it refills after dispensing water, but not any worse than the gurgling sound from the top loading bottles when dispensing. One thing that I think could have been designed better is a larger dispensing area with a wider tray to place over-sized cups on. It is narrower than what I am accustomed to, and sometimes we fill taller pitchers which don't fit under the dispensers.

In this day when online purchases arrive in a day or two, it was surprising that it took almost three weeks to get this water cooler. Very well packaged, nice looking product. Not sure if this one was damaged or if the compressor is really loud on all of them, but we ultimately decided to return it. It does come with a thin sheet of foam to place on the floor under the cooler to help absorb the sound, so I guess it is a known issue. The item looks great, very sleek and appears well made, but distractingly loud.

As a retired high-end custom kitchen cabinet maker and installer, I am very impressed with the quality and aesthetics of the Glacial Maximum Stainless Self Cleaning Base Load Water Cooler Hot & Cold. I would have no hesitation recommending and/or installing this product in any kitchen we built.

Bought this water cooler about a year ago, it has been great. A couple of weeks ago the cold water stopped working. Emailed company looking for some help trouble shooting. They quickly responded saying it sounded like the compressor failed and would require a new unit. Next day they sent me a message saying they had sent me a new unit, can't beat that for customer service!

I had the run of the mill type dispenser from Sparkletts. This unit surpasses the Sparkletts unit by a mile! This unit is lighter in weight, but, cools and heats much faster than the Sparkletts. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a bottom load water dispenser. The unit did come with a small imperfection on the side panel. The stainless steel panel was not formed smoothly, which I am currently contacting the manufacturer to get that iron out, so to speak. Aside from that, it is a great unit to have. Mine worked fine for awhile but then the cold water was no longer cold, and it started to leak. I returned mine and got another brand, which runs great.

So after a rather rough start,as I had to return my new cooler to the store as it was not producing cold water(perhaps happened in shipping), I am now enjoying my replacement bottom feed cooler. I have to say the manual instructions for initial set up are horrible BUT after calling the company directly they immediately emailed me simplified instructions (huge help). I think the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that it does make some noise when the compressor fills the reservoir with water, as I am used to a top feed cooler which makes no noise at all. I have only had this cooler 2 days but so far I am happy with the overall product, especially the appearance in my kitchen

This cooler was an excellent choice for us. It looks great with our décor. The inner workings of the cooler are well thought out and the cooler works great .

I had another water cooler and replaced it with this amazing high tech water cooler that beautifully complements our stainless kitchen. The bottom loading feature also makes loading new 5 gallon canisters super easy and no more water spilled. This is also an improved design from their previous model. FIVE STARS!

We love our Mountain Valley delivered water in THICK, GLASS bottles but with my husband's shoulder & hip surgeries & well yes I can lift that 50 lb bottle, flip it over & all, I really don't want to. Why create the situation? I rather save my strength & energy for LIFE.. This is truly a back/ body savior! Was so easy to set up & get it going. Yes it can be a little loud after using it but it's not a big deal. Perfect for our needs & SELF PRESERVATION outweighs LOUD any day! Was delivered really quick too. We are enjoying it.

I love that this is a hidden water bottle cooler; I don't have to lift and flip the water bottle, which is super convenient. It also keeps the water at the perfect cool temperature and the hot water is perfect for tea.

Easy setup, worth the extra money if you want the stainless steel look.

I was a little concerned about noise issues that others had mentioned. The cooler unit came with a pad to place under the water jug; it is one of the quieter units I have seen, & it is so energy efficient that it only runs for a short period of time, dependent on use, of course.

Unlike most hot and cold water dispensers where the hot water is hot but the cold is marginal at best, this model yields cold water that can truly be deemed cold. It blows away the performance of the Primo model that is replacing. The workmanship looks and feels solid relative to the other dispensers that I have had. This model also is very quiet. The only time I really notice any noise is after I have filled a glass with water and the pump is replenishing the reservoir. The manufacturer has also taken note of past customer complaints by providing a thin anti-vibration pad for the dispenser to stand on. The box also makes it clear that, after you unbox it, you should leave the dispenser in an upright position for a minimum of 4 hours prior to plugging it in to prevent an oily taste. The bottom line is that this dispenser, while on the pricey side, yields excellent performance.

We tried a different brand 3 years ago and it was a disappointment. This one works great! No more heavy lifting.

I was excited to receive this product from HD. Well package and came in good condition. I was a little disappointed because I expected a great deal more stainless steel on the product. But overall, the product works well. The hot water comes out very hot, and the cold water is pretty cold. Family is enjoying this.

Very quick delivery. Product nicely packaged. Operates as advertised. I especially like the bottom loading feature as picking up large bottles was getting to be a chore.
