I believe the manufacture missed the boat on the purpose of the liners. I have been using them for about a year and love them. They don't help with much of the gun clean up but if you are going to spray less than a single cups worth (quart), the liner helps you to squeegee out the unused paint back into the paint supply can. This works best with disposable gloves since there will be paint mess on your hands. If you are going to need to refill the paint cup several times for the paint job, you will not be saving any time with the clean up. With the single paint cup paint jobs, you save a little extra unused paint for your next job and keep paint off the threads of the paint cup. This saves a little on the clean up. With the cost of paint these days, the paint you save will easily offset the cost of these liners.

Bought to keep the container clear hoping it would make clean up quicker. It is just as quick to clean container as it is to put in the liner then pull it and try to dispose without making a mess. You still have to clean the gun and you need the container on to do this. So the container still has to be cleaned.
