It is medium duty galvanized steel sheet. I used is to connect to hold a 7 inch duct with a 7inch to 6inch reducer for my new cabinets. It worked nicely to hold the 7"inch duct above the ceiling and provided a 6 inch connection for planned new cooking hood through kitchen cabinet. The collar will be hidden by the cabinet.

Worked perfect, easy to trim if need be.

Fixed a builder grade hole in the wall so we can install a six inch vent pipe.

This product is okay, it is just ugly; at least in my opinion. If this flange was in a place where I would not see it very often it would be okay.

I did really like it functionality, good fabrication and made to installation easier.

It's a simple piece of of sheet metal. It was cut to proper size. It has held up great so far.

I used this to cover up a rough cutout on a wall where a dryer vent went through. It is made out of thin sheet metal, so it will bend if you push it hard. It looks much nicer than the pieces of broken tile and cinder block, and fits perfectly on 6" rigid duct.

The opening was a bit too tight but was easy to fix with a grinding wheel on my drill. Custom fit now. It is designed for the 6 inch rigid stove pipe but I used the 6 inch flexible pipe which is a little wider/thicker. Easy to modify though. Covers up the rough cut opening on the shelf with a good clean professional look now.

Simple fix for my AC exhaust duct out of my garage.

Used the ceiling collar as a trim ring for the 6" flexible duct piping going down through the cabinet for my new downdraft cooktop. When they installed the original cooktop they used rigid vent pipe and they were pretty liberal with the saw. So with all that said and done it covered up all of the overcut and with a little white paint it looks great.

Perfect to finish out where the range vent 6 inch duct passed through the upper cabinet.
