Unable to update my original review so I am adding a new one. We had our first major rain since the doors were installed. I noticed that water had been collecting under a cloth box next to the door, causing my wooden floor to show cupping. We had another heavy rain yesterday and I was able to observe the door during the storm. The water was entering in multiple steams from the window frame!

My question was removed from the customer question section. I bought these doors based on the pictures and stated specs: the color should be uninterrupted and they are advertised as triple pane. The doors come painted with a white plastic strip down the middle interior. It really disrupts the look. It cannot be removed as it is integral to the locks. The doors are double paned not triple. It is annoying to think I bought triple paned doors and received double panes. Otherwise nice

We purchased this door in the fall of 2008. The string on the mini-blinds broke after gentle use.

The door was exactly as it was stated. I can only give it 3 stars because it is exactly 60x80. It does not include an extra 2 includes on the width and top like all of the other prehung doors we ordered. We returned it.

The Double Glass Patio door is fantastic. We are very pleased with the quality. Home Depot was great with communicating estimated arrival. The door was on time and helped us move forward with the project.

Looks like it was a rush job at the factory. Window glaze all over the glass, marks from sliding the unit, and the frame is unsquare. It looks great now, but it took a lot of extra work when it shouldn't have.

I love the ability to open both doors when needing to. However, the paint is chipping on the stile edge between the two doors - is there a way to fix this? Have only had this door for a couple of months - was thinking the paint and quality of it would have lasted longer.

Update to my previous review. Foggy day has revealed lines inside the glass panes that can't be removed. Due to lighting issues (these patio doors lead to the outside where its bright) I can't get a good enough picture for Home Depot to address the issue. The glass looks like it was previously used in another door with small panes. As though a grid pattern was placed there to make one piece of glass look like several planes. I will have to hope it doesn't happen when we have guests - I can easily imagine some funny guest thinking they are clever and using it for tic tac toe on a foggy day.

They just installed it, love the quality, love being able to order it painted. These doors are akwardly large -not easy to pick up yourself. Delivery was expensive - especially compared to what I paid for my front door with sidelights. This door did not arrived packed as well as the front door and looked as though to had been tossed around a bit before getting to my house- only one noticeable ding - not bad considering. I would recommend, if you can, save the delivery money and borrow strong friends with a trailer to help you pick it up or ask your contractor. Either way, check it carefully for dings- it is metal and they aren't packing it very well. You'll have plenty of opportunities to ding it up yourself over the many years they last.

I wanted a door unit with jams that would never rot and this was exactly what I wanted! I was replacing a wooden, double door unit with a French door type. I purposely ordered this door unit without the brick molding, because I knew I might have to customize the exterior trim to fit the brick opening. I used PVC type brick molding with PVC finish strips to customize the fit. Looks great! My only angst about the door is I have to set the mid and upper hinge on the active door a little deeper to square it up better in the frame. Other than that I'm very pleased!

The doors went right in and looks very pretty. In case their is a hurricane we are ready since they are hurricane rated.

I tried to order french door with blinds in the glass. I got french doors without blindes. I will not order on line again.
