Painted really really cheap
The plastic feels really light and cheap and it's clear the paint will flake off really easily, but it is only $1.59. I got the chrome (not brushed chrome) toiler paper holder. Keep in mind the sides are wide, which might not fit some toilet paper holders that have small openings on the sides.

It does the job of holding the toilet paper in place. The downfall is that within the first days there were silver flakes falling off. Who knows how long it will be before it’s all off and backe to its original color.

This roller is slightly shorter than the other replacement I bought and it works much better for me since my holder is not the usual distance . There is less tension on the roller and I hope it will last longer because of this.
