This set is really nice looking. I reviewed it last March. However, although the chairs and frame have held up nicely, the table top is chipping and cracking this year. It is about one year old. It seems that moisture gets into the top and lifts it so that you have holes in the surface. I still like the set but would recommend that you cover it after each use to protect the surface from moisture. It is unfortunate that it didn't get delivered with a protective cover.

We bought this early 2013 and brought it in to our basement for the winter and just noted the chairs are bubbling and peeking. The table top is cracking and chipping. It is comfortable to sit in as the chairs do not get hot indirect sunlight. But the finish and table are lacking in quality for the long run for the price. Filling a claim today (March 2014) . Sorry but the price verse long term quality don't add up.

When I saw this item in the store in another state, I fell in love with it. When I came home I could not find it in any store in my home town. I purchased the item on-line and it was more beautiful than I remembered once delivered. The craftsmanship is superb. I liked it for the high seating and quality. The value for the money and the look it provides to your space is so worth it.

We bought this set on clearance and couldn't be happier with it. Good & sturdy, yet easy to assemble. Very pleased with the quality of the pillows & the metal used. Would recommend to friends & family.

After many months of research and shopping I chose this Madison Dining Table set based on the reviews, sturdiness and beauty of this patio furnishing. It was perfect! As a Certified Interior Decorator I have many clients coming to my home and it is an affordable, stunning addition to my Tuscany patio/pool area.

I love the chairs...color, quality, style, etc. The table, however, arrived with numerous cracks/damage throughout. I have a replacement coming from the manufacturer but it is "on back-order 6-8 weeks". Sure to arrive as summer ends. Ugh.

I love it!! I was a little hesitant to buy because I thought it wouldn't be very durable or look as nice as it does on line. But it does! Great design, very durable, heavy table that won't blow away during a bad storm! I would highly recommend it for any outdoor setting!

the patio set was easy to assemble, i have waited 3 years to find the right patio dining set and this is IT!!!!

I bought this set back in 2013 and really like it. It is unique among patio furniture which tends to be either metal or glass. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how vulnerable it would be to winter elements and the table top is now crumbling in places. I'd like to replace it and am extremely disappointed that the only unique patio set you offer has been discontinued. FAIL.

Follow up to my previous review. I was contacted by the manufacturer and offer a replacement top, but i needed to pay for shipping and handling at $138. I think this is a fair settlement, and i received good customer service.

Table chipped and cracked horribly with 2 summers even though it was covered when not in use.

Within 6 months the tiles were breaking off the table, and the paint was chipping off the chairs. worse table I have ever purchased.

It was a beautiful set. I purchased it in spring 2013, but within a year or so, the chairs have peeled. Even with being covered, i was disappointed to see that the finish on all four chairs was peeling. The table top seems to be holding up pretty good though. I've been in touch with HD customer service to try to get some resolution. As much as it cost, it certainly should not be deteriorating in the manner that it has. Customer service initially was on top of things (i.e. follow up calls 1-2 times a week), but has since dropped the ball. Hopefully, it can be resolved to my satisfaction.

Got this as a house warming gift from my in-laws. Looked great and seemed solid at the time. However, after a year and a half (bought August 2013) this table is falling apart! The top has cracks all through it, and the paint and peeling and chipping. I think if I were to serve dinner on this table it would completely fall apart. Terrible value for an outdoor set. Completely unusable. The paint on the chairs is also bubbling, and after one of the chairs was blown over in the wind, it has cracks in the frame. Will never buy this type of set again.

UGH!!!!! After 1 year the table top is dissolving right before our eyes. The white powder is eating away at our deck too!! So disappointing .... the set looked really great at first. Going to Home Depot to see if they will compensate in some way.

After this winter table top is chipping and peeling. Very disappointed loved this set but now its just not usuable.. Calling Hampton Bay for some restitution....

The frame, chairs and cushions are still in great condition, but the table is chipping and flaking apart. We also have the white dust that someone else mentioned in another review. I contacted Hampton Bay because it is still under warranty. They submitted my claim, but the table top Is on back order and I was told to check back mid-June to see when it would be in. I'm going to return it for a refund.

This set looks great. I love it! Too bad it doesn't seem to be lasting. I uncovered it this Spring and saw that the table has numerous cracks in it. I've had it less than a year and paid over $700 for it I believe. I'm digging out my receipt and contacting the company for a replacement or something. I don't foresee the table lasting through the summer.

Looks wonderful, but after one Winter, the table surface is literally dissolving. There is a white, powder-like residue that won't come off the wooden deck flooring. We originally believed it to be salt (from a recent snowfall), but it was the table surface itself. This all happened within eight months of use. Stay away from this garbage furniture.

The table peeled in less than a year. The table split open and cracked and is not usable Home Depot discontinued the product for obvious reasons. Hope I can get something back

After 7 months the table started to disintegrate. The table is leaking white powder residue onto the deck and chairs and the table itself is starting to become hollowed out. Although I did leave it outside in all weather uncovered I expected it to last longer.

Quality is equivalent to or better than the cost. No surprises. Product is exactly as promised. Happy with the purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully the table and chair set was packed and prepared for assembly. All parts were thoughtfully protected and only minimal assembly was required. The whole project took only a few minutes--and most importantly, the wife is thrilled with the way the table and chairs look!

Terrific value, esp since I got it on the black friday sale! The legs adjust infinitely for irregular patio surface. Looks and feels like a much more expensive set.

I had been eyeing this set for a few weeks and was surprised when my sister showed me her new patio set and it was this one! After seeing it in person I decided it was well worth the money and purchased one for myself. This is a very well made set and the materials seem like they won't wear in the sun like other materials would. Definitely recommend. The only negative I have is Home Depot's shipping method. I had to be given a 4 hour window M-F in which I had to be home for it to be delivered. Not happy that I had to take time off from work for this to be delivered

I ordered this set sight unseen and I'd definitely say I made a good choice. The chairs are comfortable and sturdy as is the table, I like the imitation tile table top and the finish on the table legs. Assembly took about an hour including unpacking (which took half the time because everything was so well protected).

Our deck was completed late last Summer, and we were challenged to find a counter-height patio set that suited our needs. I found this set in the store, but it was on clearance at the end of the season and I was unable to get it. I was truly surprised to find it online during the recent Christmas sale, and immediately ordered it. We have the set ready to use next Spring. This table is heavy and is very well constructed. I know that this set won't get blown about in high winds, and is sturdy enough to last a long, long time. The solid top looks good and is very durable. I have a smaller end-table that matches this set, and found it easy to clean and care for last season. The chairs are quite comfortable and appear sturdy enough to last a long, long time. When I spend more time with the set next Spring I'll update my review if I find anything that I do not like. Today, I definitely recommend this set.

Very pleased with this purchase. It looks and feels much more expensive than the sale price I paid. Better still was the free shipping which was to my door, no problems for me getting this into our new condo. This will be just right for sitting on our balcony watching the sunset. Great quality, well packaged, easy to assemble.

I love this patio set but I purchase on clearance and the table top is missing along with the fastening hardware to put table together. Anyone know where I can find the table top and fasteners?
