Rusted Badly
Bought these in chrome and hung them mid-January 2023, when my bathroom reno was complete. Just about a year later and they're about 75% covered in rust. My bathroom is no more humid than any other - it's upstairs, only one shower is taken in that room per day, the exhaust fan runs during the shower and for about 30 min to 1 hour after, and our overall air in the house is on the drier side. I can't think of any reason these would rust so badly other than it not being a good product.

Not impressed. The rod and the curtain hooks we bought at the same time both rusted up like crazy...
Not impressed. The rod and the curtain hooks we bought at the same time both rusted up like crazy... which is hilarious since they're designed to be in a bathroom... which is a humid environment. The started only slightly rusting maybe 2 months after purchase and by the end of it they were covered in rust. I called Home Depot because the manufacturer has a lifetime guarantee and it took a bit of sitting on hold and getting transferred to the manufacturer but MOEN did end up sending a replacement rod and hooks. Both of them look great and hopefully won't rust up like the first order, but we have no reason to think these will be any different. I'll try to update the review in a few months...
So crappy product but good customer service, hence not just one star.

These work great, glide smoothly and look nicer than HD picture, especially on a moen bar. Below...
These work great, glide smoothly and look nicer than HD picture, especially on a moen bar. Below pic is from inside shower with only a liner. Hopefully they won't rust with some heavy Clorox cleaning in future, but have seemed substantial and are rust free for the past two months. I would not hesitate to buy again based on two months look and performance.
