Retrofitted this over an 18 year old Moen Monticello everything fit perfectly. With a new valve cartridge, it's like a new faucet without the labor of actually replacing the valve body. Shower head is large and seems to put out a lot of water considering gpm restrictions. Take care when installing the slip on tub spout over copper pipe, especially if it's older pipe. Pipe needs to be clean and free of any hard water deposits / rough spots or it will grab hold of the "O" ring seal and pull it out of the recess it needs to be in.

The new hardware looks and works great! The bathroom upgrade was well worth the money spent!

I had this shower kit installed in November and it developed a leak two days ago after about 4 months of use. The plumber discovered that the cartridge was the problem, specifically the o-rings. Total cost of new cartridge ($44) and plumber's labor ($150), $194 to fix the faucet. The only positive thing I can say is that I'm grateful it was just the cartridge and not the valve installed in the wall in November when the whole shower kit was installed. A faulty valve would have required having the tiles cut again and I'd be a lot angrier and poorer than I am right now. Home Depot is sending me a $50 HD gift card as compensation for the cartridge but unfortunately they do not reimburse a plumber's bill. Moen used to be a quality product, but apparently they are no longer reliable. I will never purchase another Moen product again. 4/17/15 UPDATE: The replacement cartridge started leaking after 5 days. It was an after-market cartridge made for Moen and not an authentic Moen part. I called Moen and they agreed to reimburse me if I purchased an authentic Moen cartridge to replace the second leaky cartridge. They offered to mail me one but they were backordered for a couple of weeks and I didn't want to wait because the dripping faucet was really annoying. The new Moen cartridge was installed this morning and my fingers are crossed that I don't have any more problems with this shower faucet. I will never purchase another Moen product again.

I always have had good luck with moen products, the quality and the great line of this product was great, it fit my need perfectly. The only difficulty was it was not sold in the sold, and that I had to wait for it to come and we are on a very short deadline to complete our project.

I really like the sleek look of this set, BUT the shower head rod is WAY TOO short which causes the water to splash all over the handle and tub spout, you can see the screws on the wall plate...TACKY... and the tub spout drips while you shower. Installed three spouts and all three dripped. Design flaw?
