From ordering to installation, Home Depot and this product worked...
From ordering to installation, Home Depot and this product worked perfectly. The delivery took a long time, but that is a manufacturer requirement. Home Depot delivered the door, placed it where we asked (even though they didn't have to), and broke apart the wood pallet so we could scrap it. The door came with installation instructions but we still downloaded PDF - it was just easier to zoom in. We put steel 90degree angles on the corners to keep the door square. We measured the entire installation, built the surface up beneath the door using concrete, let it dry, and the door went in - in less than 30 minutes. From the time we placed the door to the installation of foam to weather seal the door, to removal of the 90 degree angles and drilling the lock holes for the second panel - everything took 30 minutes. I waited 2 extra days because I thought this would be a nightmare - the instructions really HELPED. Thank you Home Depot, Thank you Masonite

Paint chips and window panels leak
The paint started chipping almost immediately after install. You can see the chips along the side of the door (the white bits). Even more problematic are the leaks - when it rains, water trickles down from the window panels inside the house.

Had to return them twice. 1st time Home Depot damaged them and the 2nd time they arrived damaged. Didn’t buy them

Do not Order from Masonite
Less than 6 months after installing the paint started peeling. I reached out to warranty in January. An inspector didn’t come until May, said we would get new doors and someone would come to install them which was wrong. I’m finally getting new doors. Masonite warranty/customer service refuses to acknowledge how terribly they handled. If you want someone to stand behind their product, choose a different manufacturer. Very disappointed in the experience and lack of customer service abilities.
