I spent good amount of money for solid core door but the quality is not good. Screws from the hinge came out from from front of the door. Had to rescrew them and refinish front.

This door arrived 2 months after the first scheduled delivery date. i wanted a "solid" core door to eliminate the light weight and hollow sound of a regular door. Neither of those worked. The door sounds and feels hollow and weighs no more than a hollow core door. Do not buy!

We are in the process of re-hanging the door from this ‘pre-hung’ assembly as the hinges were not correctly installed.

Ordered and received 10 of these of varying size. Multiple issues: - Center hinges were almost all offset outward from outer hinger in jam (misaligned hinges = door that doesn't swing properly) - Multiple stripped hinge screws on door (7 out of 9 on one door) - Strike plate cutout not aligned with lockset hole (door won't latch w/o chiseling and realigning strike plate cutout) Once the above were adjusted (multiple screw holes filled, hinges / strike plates realigned), the doors look fine, even quite nice. The problem is that a prehung door should be fairly easy to install; these were almost as painful as buying slabs and jams and doing it old school -- more so, in some ways given that such issues are not expected from a quality door manufacturer so took a while to discover them. This lead to a certain amount of head scratching initially as we needed to check our assumptions over how prehung doors should be assembled from the factory. One we realized that every part of the whole assembly needed to be checked and adjusted prior / during installation, things sped up a bit.

The door was easy to hang and met all my expectations.

This door did not come pre-hung at all. The hinges were attached to the frame but were not inset into the frame so the door would not even close the way it was sent. Luckily I had a handyman here who had the proper tools to fix the door so that it was actually pre-hung. I would not recommend ordering a Masonite door, go with a different brand.

Door was shipped to local Home Depot. The door arrived in fair condition. The door was not well protected and had numerous scuff marks. Make sure you inspect the product prior to accepting.

Nice quality prehung solid core door. The smooth finish matches existing customers painted wood 6 panels. Order time was appox. 4 weeks so plan accordingly.

The items was constructed with care and the appearance was good.

The frame for this solid core interior door (36" x 80" x 6 9/16") had a chunk broken out of the Jamb. I asked for a new jamb but they do not stock 6 9/16" jambs. The customer service rep knocked off a few bucks so I could buy a new jamb at the lumber yard - but since this was a primed jamb - the lumber yard only had unprimed raw wood jambs - had to prime the jamb on my own plus toe it together - somewhat of a pain but once complete it looked good.

The solid core prhung double doors truly lacked in the quality control department. 1.) Trim nails on the dumby door post missed their mark and poked out into the door face. Door frame was not square - top frame was not mitered correctly - one side was higher than the other.
