Best Instructions and packaging. Great Product
Looked at all the tub/shower enclosures at Home Depot. They didn't have this one on display but it looked good online, so I purchased it "blind". Of course the great reviews helped make my decision. The door arrived via DLH trucking on schedule. Although the box was slightly damaged the contents were packaged extremely well and there was no damage to the product. The Instructions and packaging of the parts is the BEST I have ever seen. Every screw, roller, hanger is shrink-wrapped individually and mounted to a cardboard that is keyed to th numbers on the instructions. They even supply some extra items (in case you lose a small screw down the drain). The graphic instructions are simple to follow. The door is very good quality; fits well, door rolls smoothly; hardware is attractive. Everything is included except a 1/4" ceramic tile bit and silicone sealant. Make sure to get them before trying to install in ceramic tile. By the way, scratch the center of the spot where you want to drill first to keep the bit from skipping around. Can be installed by one person alone.

Great for use in older homes
Took me forever to find a tub door that would fit my tub but this one did. Nice heavy glass construction keeps the door from moving and causing a rattle. Can't see any cons to this at this time. Is exactly what we were looking for.

Great Buy for the money
We purchased this shower door for our guest bathroom to be installed over the tub. Other than drilling through the stone tiles of our bathroom wall (not related to this product) installation was very easy. I'm not a professional but would consider myself a bit of a handyman and it took me about 4 hours to install this door. About 2.5h were spent just drilling the holes in the tiles. When I was finished, my wife was blown away and said it exceeded her expectations. It looks really nice and everyone who sees it said they expected it to cost several hundred dollars more than we paid for it. My only complaint and why I couldn't give it 5 stars was when we received the package (instore pickup) the box was kind of damaged looking. When we got home, we found several of the pieces had shifted around in the box and one of the metal door handles was bent and dented. I was able to straighten it mostly back to shape but you can tell its slightly bent if you bend down and look at it. Other than this minor issue the door was perfect. I'd definitely recommend it.

Just as described. It's a good quality door and looks more expensive than it costs.
Follow the instructions and installation it is pretty straight forward. It comes with a drill bit but since I am not a contractor I did not know that it will not work to drill through tile. If you are trying to drill into tile you need a special bit. Once I picked up the right bit, everything went smooth. It really should come with the extra bit but anyways. The door is of good quality and it rolls nice in the guide. Worth the money.

Great bang for your buck.
The door looks great and works well. One of the pieces was bent right out of the box, but luckily it still worked. It's a great value, especially with shipping included in the price. Handles do seems cheap, but not bad.

I like the framless doors
Doors were fairly easy to install. We had to do some filing because the tub surround we have does not have straight edges. The only way to get base to sit flush was to file back edges. We also had to trim some at top so top sat correctly as well. Other than this everything went very easy.

Tonik tub door.
Excellent product but when I called MAAX for additional parts I was told they were no longer available. The manual gave an incorrect telephone number to call. The manual said that a ledge filler and wall filler was available but they are not. Installation will be difficult.

Nice Quality for the Price
The doors are nice quality for the money. The glass is thick and is pretty easy to keep clean. The trim is very dark and appears more black then oil rubbed bronze. It doesn't bother me because my vanity is black, but I would of been disappointed if my vanity was any other color. My contractor did not have any problems installing.

Cannot Beat This Deal
We were looking for a frameless, chrome-colored sliding bathtub doorset with obscure glass that would not break the bank. This one truly fit the bill. The 1/4" glass, though not quite as beefy (hence 4 stars for quality and not 5) as the 5/16", 3/8" or even 1/2" glass on the "high-end" doorsets, is plenty heavy and absolutely adequate for residential shower doors. The exposed edges are smooth and look great. The product is well thought-out and designed, well manufactured and well packaged. Instructions are clear and concise. The bearing rollers are heavy brass and are as smooth as silk. Plastic bushings, washers and fittings keep all metal parts directly away from glass. The aluminum door handles/towel bars are very nicely executed and give a clean look. All finished surfaces are beautiful. I have installed such doors before, and this one goes in the same way as the rest. It took me under two hours, start to finish. I am an advanced do-it-yourselfer with a lot of experience. In fact, I completely renovated both my bathrooms myself. I can offer some advice: - First and foremost: Make sure that your tub opening is as plumb and level as possible before installation of any doorset - this will expedite installation considerably. If the opening is out of plumb, you will need to improvise to build up the walls so that the side rails are plumb when fastened. Most manufacturers sell a covering rail that envelops the actual siderail and covers the improvised buildup. - Read the directions carefully and follow them precisely. If you lack any of the tools, acquire them. This is not a particularly complex project for someone who is comfortable with construction. If you're not sure about measuring, cutting, drilling and screwing, don't attempt this by yourself. - Use only a modicum of silicone caulk - a well-controlled, narrow bead goes a long way. No need to "smooth" it with a finger if the bead is applied cleanly. - Do invest in a high quality caulk gun - it makes a HUGE difference. English company COX makes a great one. - When cutting the aluminum top track and bottom rail to fit, use a hacksaw with a new blade and a manual miter box. Clamp the rail to the box and the box to the workbench. I actually used a second miter box, also clamped, under the dangling end of the rail/track, to keep it straight when I was cutting. - Be sure to file the rough cuts. - Make sure that the top rail seats well onto the side rails before attempting to hang the doors on it. - Check for level and/or plumb after each step. - I respectfully disagree with some of the reviewers who recommend that two people install the actual doors to the frame. They just aren't that heavy. Perhaps for some. - I agree with the reviewer who opted for toggle bolts behind unsupported walls, in lieu of the plastic anchors included with the door hardware. Even better is to forego any anchor whatsoever and screw directly into wood or metal studs if possible. Since I went down to bare frame in my bathroom, I added wood framing at the door opening on both sides of the bathtub, just for this purpose.

bathtub shower door
The product was delivered in a timely manner to our home. It was easy to install with the directions and pictures provided. The door looks great with the other fixtures in our bathroom. It did have a small black spot on the glass which I got mostly removed by using a scratch compound for car finishes.

great
I am a contractor. I purchased this shower door for my home. It was easy to install. I opted for toggle bolts instead of the plastic anchors that come with the kit. I lacked a stud on one end of the tub wall. The chrome on the towel bars look a little cheap. They may not look nice for long, but don't know. It seems like a nice door. The price is very good and the delivery to my house was a real plus. I recommend this door to the homeowner who wants to attempt an installation.

very nice doors
I have never installed tub/shower doors before so it took me about four hours to remove the old doors and install the new ones. The kit comes with a few extra parts in the case that you may lose some. I did not use the recommended hacksaw blade tooth count nor did I use a miner box to guide the cuts. After I made my cuts I used a fine file on any rough edges. The only small problem I had with the doors is that when installing the towel racks on the doors one of the nuts in a rack had bad threads. It made it difficult to bolt the rack to the door. For calking I used GE silicone 2 clear three hour shower ready and five year mold free product protection. I used about a half a tube of this.

impressed
This door is better than the Kohler door I put on my shower. the glass is much heavier and it appear to be better made. Install was easy. I read a comment from someone who said that the finish was black but I found it to be a good match for my Kohler faucet.

Nice heavy frameless doors
This is a heavy, quality tub door. My husband had no problems with installation. There was a tiny scuff on the frame, but you would have to look closely to notice. It has a clean track feature that made me choose this door. The door does not qualify for any free shipping, and the shipping was very expensive, but I really wanted this door for the clean track properties.

door was beautiful and easy to install
I had a company put a glass shower door in for me at a cost of $1200.00. This door was roughly $300.00, easy to install and looks the exact same!

Black in Color NOT Bronze
We ordered all bronze hardware for our new bathroom and it wasn't until our carpenter had this tub door installed that we realized that it really is not bronze at all. Next to all our fixtures it appears black in color. The door itself is substantial but if you are truly hoping for bronze do not get this one. We are stuck with an installed black tub door that ruins the appearance of our new bathroom otherwise accessorized in bronze.

Looks good & was easy installation
Being a 68 years old & a recent retiree with no hands on skills, I was able to install the enclosure properly and easily with only help to lift doors on the tracks. PS, I am a woman

    Quality Product!
This is a great product for the money. Easy to install with step by step instructions with diagrams and numbered hardware. Quality materials, frame and trim made from solid polished aluminum. Rubber coated brass rollers are used to hang the thick glass doors. All mounting hardware is stainless steel. 100% water tight. Also adjustable up to 1\2 inch to allow for walls that are out of plumb. Comes with drill bit for installing the door guide and a wrench for installing the towel bars. I'm very impressed with this product and I'm sure you will be too.

      Beautiful door
I purchased this door for a bathroom that I remodeled. I am a lawyer- not a contractor. I found the installation to be very manageable. It is a piece of cake to cut the frame to fit, if you use the proper saw blade. I left my cut a little long so that there was very little space between the door and wall and because you ruin the entire door if you cut too much. I actually had to carefully hammer it in place because the fit was so tight. The drill bit provided broke, but you can easily buy better drill bits that more easily penetrate tile. Also, it is difficult to install the doors alone, so get someone to help balance the glass. The product, though, looks great.
