Okay so I've only tried this out on a few test samples. I first tried this on unistrut which I thought was 14 gauge, only later to realize it is 12 gauge. Stating that I'm not going to try cutting any more 12 gauge with this but for the little I did cut it did an awesome job - well that is until the metal scrap scroll got in the way and wasn't able to cut past that, but that is 12 gauge for ya. Everything else so far has been great.

Cuts well. Doesn't burn through batteries. Struggles a little over bends. Not very easy to keep straight but could be fine with lots of practice.

Does not cut 14 gauge. It can do 16gauge and not that well. It’s mostly good for 18 and under.

Cut 10' of 16ga stainless and the cutters were dull. Not worth the price.

Tool will not cut 16 gauge sheetmetal. It is advertised as able to cut 14 gauge which is thicker than 16 gauge but binds up when cutting 16 gauge and will not do the job.

It’s hard to start the initial bite into the metal as the jaws do not open very wide. Only good to cut straight lines and I found that it is most effective at the slowest speed. Using it to cut 26 gauge roofing steel. Double shear is better at keeping the cut edge cleaner and with peas warping. I wish I had tried the nibbler instead although it appears to make more of a mess. It does save your hands from using traditional snips, but not really faster nor versatile.

Wouldn’t cut… would not recommend to buy.. the handle was in the way of cutting cross tin roofing

Wish I had this years ago and telling everyone to get one. I’m a chicken farmer - it’s an indispensable tool.

Work great, cut right rough sheet metal just like its supposed to

When I got it it was only capable of cutting 16 gauge

I bought it to demo some ductwork and it has worked great so far.

I purchased this shear to cut 20 gauge stainless steel sheets. I did a few practice cuts on 22 gauge scrap with really good results, haven’t tried it on the 20 gauge as of yet. Can’t wait to try it.

this is the 40th set i brought , the guys love them , way better the the dewalts we have .

It does what it is supposed to do. It cuts sheet metal. Faster, smoother and quieter than the other brands

It's not a tool I use a lot, but when I need it it always gets the job done. I wish I had this year's ago.
