Holes for screws were so position that I had to cut both ends to fit a 31" door. The seal then pulled back from both ends making it difficult to weather seal the door. The instructions could be more complete.

This product is awful. The rubber seal is not pliable and does not compress. It makes the door virtually impossible to close if you install the weatherstripping to actually have a good seal. The only way to have the door open and close easily is to install the weatherstrip so that it doesn't really touch the door. Don't buy this product! I am returning the one I bought.

Vinyl gasket is not soft enough. Needs to be rubber. Don't waste your time or money.
Because the gasket does not conform well to the mating surface this product must be shoved against the door when tightening down the screws. If I make a tight seal then I have to slam the door to get it to latch.
When I first installed it (with slight pressure against the door and the gasket lightly compressed) I could not believe how much light and air was leaking thru the door jamb. So after spending $32 for two sets I guess I'll go back to HD to see if they have a softer (i.e. rubber) gasket that will snap into this product.
If you do decide to buy this product, install it on a windy day and you will see what I mean.
