I gave it only 2 stars because it took almost a month to receive the product. I went to another location a purchased a less expensive (on sale) replacement.

This product appears to be of good quality and nicely fabricated/assembled. Disappointingly, the cable is not as shown in the provided Web picture, where the photo shows a ribbon style cable. The product delivered was not a ribbon style but rather a common electrical cable similar to an extension cord. I had hoped for ribbon style cable so that mounting (using tape for example) the cable to a larger pipe diameter (2"-3") could be easily accomplished ensuring good heat transfer contact. Also, the instructions were enlightening on how not to use the pipe heating cable. For example, you are advised not to spiral wrap the cable around a pipe nor double up on mating it to both sides of a pipe (for extreme cold conditions). Had I known this I probably would not have ordered this particular product. Nevertheless, the product appears well manufactured and should do the job for most applications.
