Another great contemporary design by Lutron matches the other decor style paddle in our newly renovated home. installation couldn't be any easier larger diagrams in English and Spanish. i paired it with the matching Diva dimmer switch because I like 2 separate switches. It can be wired for either single pole for 1 switch location or 3-way for operation from 2 locations.

The slider for the speed control is not smooth, will stop between positions and shut the fan off.

Finally found a fan control switch that matches the existing...
Finally found a fan control switch that matches the existing Diva dimmers in my rooms. Has four different positions which avoids using it as a light dimmer. Works excellent in two of my bedrooms with ceiling fans and separate switches for the fan and its light.

Nice upgrade from my old on/off switch. This looks good alongside other Lutron styles; installed mine next to their Skylark Contour dimmers.

Nice looking but does not work well with Hunter fan....
Nice looking but does not work well with Hunter fan. The fan motor has a loud hum. The slider needs to lock into the High/Med/Low position, otherwise the fan just stops.

We're sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the Caseta fan control. Some fans have a built-in module or limiter that can't be controlled by other manufacturer's controls. We suggest you contact the fan manufacturer to find out if your fan can be controlled by a third-party fan control, such as the PD-FSQN.

Most ceiling fans have 4 speeds and this is a 3 speed fan switch. Takes time to adjust to desired fan speed.

Useless Switch. Unnecessary expense
The slider just turns the fan off. So, now u have 2 ways to turn off the fan, the slider as well as the rocker. Doesn’t change the fan speed. Hence, rather than wasting money on this, just take a box of 10 normal rocker switches in far less price
