Completed job looks GREAT, however, separating the cover plate from the mounting grid is DIFFICULT! You will swear you’re going to crack the plate or the grid in the process. I did feel lucky that I was able to complete the job without breaking anything.

They’re nice and clean looking

No visible screws. But it's thick, and the two piece construction is super obvious. If your wall is not perfectly flat, it looks bad. I don't like the way it looks, but it is functional and construction quality is very good.

Bought a bunch of these to replace old cheap discolored builder’s grade plastic covers from the 90’s. I like how there aren’t any exposed screws making it easy to clean. The look is sleek, simple & modern.

LOVE THESE! Amazing how just removing the screws from the front can make such a difference! Originally bought these to complete my new bathroom remodel but then decided to replace the whole house! They look very clean and sleek. Easy to install.

The 1/4 inch screws are way too short. They are not even 1/8 of an inch longer than the depth of the wall plate, not enough thread to grab the wood. It seems to be a specialty screw which means you won't find a flat head that doesn't stick out too far at Home Depot.

I replaced all the switch plates throughout my home with the Lutron Claro plates, and they look fabulous. They give the home an updated, more modern look. They are a little pricey, but I was able to replace all the plates in the home for less than $100. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I have most of my house on Lutron smart switches with the wall plate and everything works amazing so far, I just wish they were a bit more affordable.

The Lutron Claro single, double, and triple gang decorator wallplates have been super easy to install and look great in my home. I just wish my local Home Depot carried the Lutron Caséta switches and accessories that the decorator wallplates were made for.

I like the design of a hidden screw plate and these are made well. I'm just nto crazy about the gloss finish on brown. I was more of a matte finish was available. I'm not a big shiny plastic fan. Other than that it worked fine. I used it on a lutron contour switch in a floatinf shelf.

While these look nice at first, with no visible screws, over time they collect dirt and dust like no other on the top groove. This groove is impossible to clean.

Well made, easy to install. Looks great with any decor. I have changed all my wallplates to Lutron Claro.

I used this screwless wall plate to replace a traditional wall plate. I have a few screwless plates from Lutron Caseta Switches I’ve purchased. I like the look and to keep things the same, I’m changing out the others to these.

Lutron Caseta Switches come with these screwless wall plates. I like the clean look plus I hate things being mismatched so I’m replacing some of my regular switch covers with these. I used this one for a Pico Remote 3-Way switch. Install is quick and easy. You can see the top and bottom plate from the side but that doesn't bother me. Doing an entire house can get expensive but if it's the look you want then it's worth it.

The Lutron wallplates are very high quality plastic which they have to be since the exterior plate is applied and removed by snapping it to the base plate. There is a certain amount of bending so the plastic has to be flexible and not rigid. I found some of the junction boxes in my house were recessed and not flush with the exterior of the wallboard. In this case, I needed to use plastic spacers on the switch or duplex plug assembly to move it out flush with the wall so the Lutron base plate and screwless cover plate are in a position for the new switch or plug to not be recessed or sticking out too far. The base plate can be adjusted slightly to have it be in the correct location, but if the junction box is recessed too far, you will need to use the spacers. There are spacers made for this specific application and they are available at any big box store in the electrical section. As opposed to the Levitron screwless wall plate, the Lutron does have more of a "presence" since it projects from the wall about one-fourth inch. My wife loves this from an architectural standpoint, but some may not. I think it looks great.
