Very disappointing. This fan does not move enough air on high speed.

Beautiful fans. We have one in each of our bedrooms and are getting another installed in the kitchen of our home. We love the all white color, low profile and the quiet operation.

This low profile version is more difficult to install than those with just a short hanger arm. The large cover is bigger than it needs to be and must be aligned perfectly to avoid any contact with moving parts. The closed lighting kit is excellent; I wish it was available for the unit installed on our outdoor covered lanai (since small birds love to nest in the open at the top bowl).

Not to happy, the fan makes a lot of noise and the balancing kit does not really work well.

replacements for 30 year old fans (no issue with old Hunter fans except they were remote (which I loved) but had issues with remote. My husband installed both fans easily.

We’re very satisfied with both hunter fans. They’re quiet and have adjustable speeds.

This is a replacement for my previous fan that is more than 50 years old, still working but became damaged. Hope this one lasts as long.

The fan had a defective part. I am waiting for a replacement part to arrive.

Although advertised as “low profile “, it is somewhat bulky, and the center is lower than you might think. Otherwise, fairly easy install, and quiet operation.

Over the past 13 years, I have purchased 11 of these fans. I started by purchasing and installing 5 fans for my home - one for each bedroom, TV room and family room. I liked the fans so much that I purchased and installed an additional 6 fans for my cabin - one for each bedroom, kitchen, living room and TV room. The fans are quiet, durable, and inexpensive to run. The lights are enclosed, so no pesky bugs get into the globe. I like that the fans are white and blend in with the ceiling. I have moved and am looking to purchase an additional five fans for my new home.

This fan is quite but the housing is huge! I prefer the original version.

This fan looked good in pictures, but installed it is ugly. The housing is enormous. This unnecessarily large housing necessitates an unusual and awkward mounting bracket. In short, this fan is poor in appearance and engineering.

Fan parts, as received in box, did not correspond to the assembly / installation instructions. We used a workaround to complete the installation and contacted Hunter but the person who responded did not seem to understand our question about the security of the installation (we were not able to put in all screws). This was frustrating and I gave up trying to communicate with Hunter. Fan is working so we'll assume it's ok, though obviously not perfectly installed.

I was replacing an existing Hunter Fan so installation was quite simple. The Only Reason for not giving this review 5 stars is the Blade balancing nonsense I had to do - which took me about 2 hours to get it half right. I mean seriously...how long has Hunter been building fans? IMO they should come wighted and balanced from the factory. Other than that this is a fine Fan that does exactly what I need it to do.

Pushes a lot of air and silent. Plenty of air on medium. Room is 14 x 14 x 9' ceiling.

This fan the profile III replaced a hunter fan I had for 33 years. I figured after 33 years the fans have changed. Probably not as good as they were 33 years ago So I searched for a quite motor and a good Wind flow. I read up on this one so I decided to purchased it. Had it installed and I must say, they are as good as they were 33 years ago. Very quite motor ,because I have it in the master bedroom. And the wind flow is great! Hunter you didn’t disappoint me at all.

Easy to install and its silent. that's all I needed.

Result was good. Love the appearance. We installed a Hunter remote. Works great. May try to find a dimmable CFL, but right now, not necessary. Installation was a bit more difficult than my husband expected. He's quite handy and was a bit challenged. This was his first ceiling fan installation. He found items on the parts list with no reference to them in the installation instructions.

I have 3 of these installed in my 3 bedrooms. I like the way they look and they seem to work well. I have them all set for medium fan speed which seems to be effective and yet quiet to me. I had an electrician install them and connect them to two light switches on the wall: one for the light, and one for the fan. Works great. I had one broken CFL bulb but Hunter sent me a replacement. I did buy 3 75-watt CFL bulbs that I use instead of the bulbs that come with and the 75-watt bulbs help brighten the whole room perfect for me. I would suggest the "quick on" CFL 75-watt bulbs. I believe 75-watt is the max for these fans.

The ceiling fan we put up today looks great but it makes a noise when the fan is on. We are replacing another brand fan for the same reason. I am hoping after running for a while the sound will go away after the fan settles. If not we will have to return this and the others we bought. :(

The product arrived ahead of schedule and well packaged. The pewter finish was chosen to coordinate with other pewter accessories in the room...which it does. This product has greater versatility in that the blades can be reversed displaying different finishes (cherry or walnut). As expected, the fan operates very quietly and efficiently. We are delighted with our choice.

The fan seems to be very high quality but the lighting is very dim. The lightblub was broke when we received it but the Home Depot store replaced it with a similair bulb which is very dim.
