I bought this kayaks on a whim. And I'm thankful I did because it has provided a tremendous sense of peace in my life. I now have 3 of these kayaks to share the experience with family and friends. These kayaks are easy to lift to get in and out of the water. They fit perfectly inside my vehicle and are sturdy and glide perfectly in the water. I have taken my kayaks through ponds, rivers, and intercoastal waterways. And have seen bald eagles, dolphins and rainbows. I will never buy another brand of kayak ever. Thank you Lifetime for a LIFETIME of memories .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this combo pack and love it. Very solid, but easy to carry. I ride in it with my little 3 year old up front no problem (could fit two kids and a adult easy). The the kayaks!

Quality is great and ability to transport is fairly easy. We are already looking at getting 2 more so friends can come along

Kayak can stand up in condo! Kayak stable in ocean waves just let wave wash over kayak it will drain. Negatives no rear holder and very slow when paddling. Positives stability weight and size

Got this with another bigger emotion kayak from lifetime as an anniversary gift. I really have love how easy it is to steer and use. It's light enough that I can pack it and load it on the car. It is really stable ( held two laughing 8 year olds without tipping). It has held up really well and is almost a year old and the color is still bright (no sun fading) and the back rest looks new. I would definitely recommend getting one of these!

This is a great beginners kayak. It comes ready for the lake with a paddle. The 'sailor' sits on top of the kayak, rather than inside. So it has more of a feel of riding a Beach Lilo or Inflatable Water Mattress. It is designed for still water, so it is not going to be much fun to ride where there could be wake from boats. For playing around on a still area of water it is a lot of fun. Molded areas on the kayak are used as foot rests, and several are provided to accommodate most sizes. The backrest is set with an adjustable strap. I found this a little cumbersome to have to adjust the strap again to lay it flat for transportation. The kayak has two carry handles, one at each end. I would have liked to have seen a handle or carry point in the middle. As it stands, you need two people to easily transport the kayak, a handle in the middle would have allowed me to carry the kayak on my own. There was no user guide supplied. We were left to ponder what the symbols in some compartments were indicating.

First time buying a kayak. We love it! Light weight and easy to load.

Bought 2 last year for creek paddling. The boat is very stable and handles in the creek well. Also works well for fooling around on still water ponds and lakes. Do not recommend for river paddling because it is hard to keep it on course. Had to modify the VERY HARD seat by adding a butt pad and a roll to support the small of my back. PROBLEM: The little tiny seat buckles come apart VERY EASILY! ...and they SINK! Last trip a EXTREMELY HARD to paddle without that part!

We have 2 of these Lotus's and they are very durable, and surprisingly stable for the type of boat. We recently needed a replacement seat and the service when ordering the part was very good.

too small for my needs

Very convenient, fits in back of my mini van, easy to dry off. Tracking is ok. Wish it had side handles. Great for Rec kayaking on a local lake.

I received this kayak three years ago as a gift and I have had so much fun with it! It is incredibly stable (my grandchildren climb off and on it with me and it barely rocks), tracks nicely on our lake and has all the features I wanted for flat water. The customer service from Lifetime has been exemplary. I have only had two issues in three years - the front handle broke and the drain plug tether broke resulting in the loss of the drain plug. Both times it was easy to contact Lifetime and they quickly sent me replacements and their agents were very pleasant. I also purchased Lifetime children's kayaks for my grandchildren from which they have received many hours of entertainment.

Happy with the purchase , but wish cargo hole stuff wouldn't go all over inside kayak

Light enough for me to carry on my own, stable, high weight capacity, just the right size. Not for speed on the water, but great for our first family kayak that we can all maneuver.
