The motion detector has been installed about 3 weeks and is well constructed. It is installed in my garage and provides plenty of light in two directions. The problem I have is it's inconsistency with the lights coming on when there is motion. When I enter the garage from the laundry room the lights come on with 1 step to 4 steps. Also the distance for it to operate is not what is advertised. I have adjusted it multiple times using the test mode. Lastly, and not important to me is the color. It is not bronze as advertised but black. In my experience to-date the unit seems inconsistent. Time will tell of it's reliability.

This motion sensor is a bit touchy. Sometimes it works OK and other times it takes longer to turn the lights on. Not sure what the problem is with it or if it has to do with wet weather. I paid big bucks to have it installed so I hate to think I have to have it removed and take it back to the store. Most of the time it works as intended and for security it is better to have it than not.
