This Lithuania Lighting General Purpose Fluorescent Industrial Strip Light with Reflector is an updated version of an older model sold by Home Depot. Updates to the fixture include a new multi-volt electronic ballast for 120V through 277 volt operation and a quick connect push type electrical connector for supply current. The electronic ballast provides instant start with high frequency flicker free operation. The large reflector keeps the light off the ceiling and redirected to the work below. The fluorescent tube sockets of these lamps work smoothly and make changing lamps a breeze compared to older style sockets that catch and sometimes break when rotating the tube into place. With replaceable fluorescent tubes and replaceable ballast, the high quality metal fixtures can last a lifetime in the shop or garage. While these fixtures are primarily designed to be hard wired and surface mounted, they can just as easily be suspended and wired with a flexible cord if desired. The included brackets used for interconnecting multiple fixtures can also be adapted for use as end hangers if a sheet metal screw is used in each to keep them pulling out of the fixture end.

This light fixture was fairly simple to put together and install. This unit is primarily designed for a direct wire install, but in my case I already had outlet installed in the ceiling of my workshop. Therefore I wanted to install a plug in cord to the light for outlet use. also choose to hang this light fixture from the roof rafters as I did not have a flat ceiling Enclosed are a few photos of install.

Was a little hard to assemble. Instructions were not that clear.

No directions of any kind inside?! Took my old broken light apart so I could cut off the cord to put on the new one, had to figure out which sockets reached which ends of the fixture. Whomever decided where the ground wire goes should be fired - it's in the middle of the fixture, but the power connector is right next to the end, will need to splice the cord ground wire to reach the screw. The reflector is ENORMOUS - like a foot wide (old one was 6") - not sure this will fit where I need it.

Returned to Home Depot the next day. Did not match description. Was not assembled, requiring wiring knowledge. Was too large for the space specified.

WE are very happy with new garage light, it really brightens the area.

Very good quality light fixture that I had no trouble retrofitting as an LED fixture. The only thing is that I needed to hang it up, and had to drill an additional hole.

I like the wider reflector versus the boxed in lights. Hard to find. Thank you

Was Packed and shipped to store in great shape. Installed as needed to surface mount, Great product, Changed 6 T12 outs in my garage with 6 of these and the amount of extra light is great.

I needed some type of light to brighten up the area in my garage that I have set up as a wood working area. This light was the perfect addition to my work shop in the garage. It was very easy to install and it really provides all the light that is needed and it brightens up the area. I was able to mount it right over the my work bench and it is the perfect addition to the garage. I would highly recommend this very affordable light.

This certainly wasn't the cheapest fluorescent fixture you could buy but that was what I was looking for to replace the cheap fixtures the previous home owner had installed. The shroud was thicker and sturdier than the cheap fixtures, the body was as well and had much less flex. This fixture is a direct wire (no plug) and did not come with bulbs. This was exactly as described, but just want to put it out there if anyone is thinking of purchasing it. Great fixture, easy install!

First of all thank you...Now when i am working in the back room of my garage I can actually see It is so bright in the back room now.I definetly reccomend this florescent light to all my friends go get you a couple of them,They are easy to install and. well worth it ,my wife even said to me tonight I can actually see everything in here now lol.,I told her we should get a couple more and she agreed
