18-1/2 in Chrome over-the-door hook rack was delivered in good condition. I have installed this type of rack another 3. But this one is stronger than others. Only draw back I found from other one is the U channels length for holding the door are short and feel like that will be get off from door by accidentally have push from shorter side. But the hanger design for hanging cloth is perfect and have no change of damage the cloth.

I don’t usually do the laundry but my wife does, she tells me that when items come out of the dryer and immediately get placed on a hanger there are a lot less wrinkles to worry about so when she saw the over the door rack that has nine hooks to hang clothes on she said I want that. The Liberty rack is constructed of chrome and seems strong enough to handle several items hung from it . My wife highly recommends it.

This over the door rack is perfect for a smaller utility or linen closet. I needed something that I could hang my broom, swiffers, etc from. This rack was the perfect size for the small closet in my hall. When I first received it, I was a little disappointed because the hooks were wider than the openings at the top of the handles. I decided to try and loop plastic ties through the openings which I could then use to hang everything and it worked! I am thrilled to be able to hang my brooms, etc to keep them off the floor. I’ve included a couple of photos to show the rack on my door. The width of the door is 19”, so it worked out perfectly.

This Chrome over the Door Hook Rack is a great space saver! Great size to put on any interior doors you may have. This one has 8 hooks to hang multiple items on. I love to cook so I used mine to hang my aprons on, so when i'm cooking there are some that other people can wear to cook with me when i'm teaching a canning class , baking some bread , making cheese or churning some butter. Pocketbooks, lightweight jackets,Bathrobe, ties, belts, hats, towels, sweaters,big draw string- value snack pk bags for chips in a pantry etc can be hung on them. I have a rack on the other side of this same door that holds towels and a hamper and they both fit on the door at the same time. Great solution to store/place things for a pantry, pool house, Tiny house , closet , room,or bathroom door.

Real simple to use and works great! If you're looking for a sturdy over-the-door style coat hanger, this one is nice. The hooks are somewhat thin - which I like because they don't take up a lot of room on the door, but they seem strong. I used this on my son's bedroom door and he has loaded all of the hooks with his jackets and hoodies. No problem with holding them. It's easy to install -- simply open the door and hang the two top hooks over the door. You do have to have about a 3/16" gap between the top of the door and the case moulding for the door to close properly when this is a attached. The chrome finish looks nice - but you won't see too much of it if you hang lots of coats or items. ; )

This chrome over-the-door hook rack is a very versatile product that fulfills the stated purpose at a very inexpensive price point. It has 8 hooks of two different size/shape to hold various items – jackets, sweaters, towels, BBQ utensils, etc.. The middle six hooks are in two rows and they are offset to make it convenient to reach each hanging item without fuss. While it says it can be used to hang backpacks, it is not intended for large school backpacks filled with books. It is made of steel making the over the door rack strong and durable. There is no installation, just unpack it and hang it over your door. This rack comes has a slot for fixing it to the door so you do not have to worry that it may become sprung over time. I think this is a better quality item than expected at the price point.

This Chrome Over-the-Door Hook Rack is the perfect solution providing more hooks to hang items keeping your living space unobstructed and neat. The rack itself is slim and nice looking in chrome and make use of an otherwise wasted space. I installed mine on the inside of the basement door facing the basement. This door is normally closed. The front of the door faces a small foyer which leads to laundry room, family room and garage. I usually enter my house from the garage and now I have a convenient dedicated place to hang a jacket or coat and an umbrella as the basement door is directly opposite the inside garage door.

This fits perfectly over my door. I actually use it to hang my shirts on while doing laundry. I would not recommend using this for coats unless they are light jackets. It's maximum weight load according to the packaging is 5 pounds and I would not test it to see if it would handle much more! It would be great for hanging aprons, hats, or ties or whatever light stuff you might need it for. Maybe some indoor extension cords. I would give it 4 stars if not for the contradictory info. The description on the website is a little misleading/confusing. It says it will hold up to 35 pounds but with a disclaimer that it would have to be mounted to studs or use anchors to do so, then the picture below that states it holds up to 10 pounds. The packaging itself says 5 pounds. So.... which is it???

I like this rack pretty much, it has 8 hooks which can be used to hang your jacket,towel or clothes for daily use. It is made of steel making the over the door rack strong and durable, and there is no need of extra installation as the item arrived exactly as shown in the picture. Just pick up from the package and hang it over your door and you are good to go. Adding to it, the rack comes with the provision for fixing it to the door with screw at both the ends.

The size and convenience of product shows a benefit for extra coat hanging.

I bought this rack because I liked that the top and bottom rows of hooks were offset from each other. And that's one of two nice things I have to say about it. The second: all over-the-door-type racks suffer from the problem of putting your hooks very high. This model has slightly longer descending rods, so the hooks are at a slightly more comfortable height. Your highest hook is about 7" from the top of the door. The small hooks are pretty tiny. The part that juts out (the hook itself) is about 1.5" long. I bought this because I wanted somewhere to hang my reusable shopping bags -- some of my bags have skinny straps, and the rack has bigger hooks on the outside, so it worked. But could it hold wet towels? I'm skeptical. The metal also looks very thin, and if I were hanging anything heavier, I would worry about warping. I ended up returning this coat rack for a cheaper, sturdier model.
