The plant had no flowers and looked pathetic. I had sent this as a gift so I was quite disappointed as was the recipient.

Received a hydrangea that was diseased. the entire plant was covered in black spot. the fungus was everywhere. Contacted Proven who sent me a replacement plant. unfortunately it too was diseased. looks like I will try planting from bulbs.

So much bigger than the usual 1 gallon sized hydrangeas I received before. I repotted it to 2 gallon container. Fast delivery, healthy plant, well packaged.

Beautiful healthy plant, arrived in perfect condition. The packaging kept the plant well-protected and the potting soil was still moist. From placing the order to receiving only took 3 days. I planted it immediately, and 10 days later it's already blooming. High hopes for it to do well and grow to match the one we've had for 15 years.

We were looking for a Blue Jangles since last year and they have been hard to find. This little guy was in great shape when it arrived and has settled in well in it's spot in all day full sun. Our soil is near neutral pH so it is coming up pink this first year as the blooms are just starting to come out in mid-June. We'll begin applying a little aluminum sulphate to begin acidifying the soil to shift the bloom color to blues in future years. Frequent small applications are needed over several years to safely move the pH down.

Hydrangeas arrived in great condition with buds and ready to go in the ground. I planted them the next day and they are thriving. So happy I ordered them. Can’t wait till they bloom.

I was expecting a small bush, mostly sticks with leaf buds. What I got was a substantial plant with full leaf structure and flower buds. So happy with what I received! Proven Winners plants are proven winners!

Received these beauties today, ordered two of them. Plants arrived very healthy with lots of blooms and very well packaged. Can’t wait to put them in the ground and watch them thrive. Thank you PW and HD, worth every penny.

I planted this small hydrangea approximately six weeks ago. It's a quart, so it's not very large. It seemed to ship well, and arrived looking healthy, green and ready to plant. I left it in the pot for a few days just because I did not have a chance to plant it, and the leaves began to brown and wilt. However, as soon as I planted it and watered it well it came back quite green and strong. I have terrible soil made mostly of clay. Despite this fact, this hydrangea is doing well and living up to its "hardy" name. Like I said, I've had it planted for almost two months, and it still has not bloomed. I'm waiting for the blue blooms to appear...

I pulled up some very old (50+ year) azaleas to plant hydrangea. I went with these big leaf hydrangea as they can tolerate the strong sun in that particularly garden bed and because my wife likes blue flowers. I also went with the 4.5in qt as opposed to the gallon to save money and because I am not in a hurry. The hydrangea were packaged very well and arrived within a few days. It was early April and they had budded already. Maybe a week or two out of dormancy. See pictures I attached of the packaging, the top of the pots were covered with cardboard to limit dirt spillage. I planted them according to instruction. We had a frost two weeks later that severely damaged one, moderately damaged two others and did affect the fourth that much. I was worried but they all recovered. Only two will likely bloom this year. For what its worth, my large and established hydrangea received a lot of frost damage as well. We had two more bad frosts and I covered the new small hydrangea with big pots overnight which prevented anymore damage. It is now mid-May and they have all recovered and grown! In the photos you can see some of the damage. The tallest hydrangea is the one that had the least frost damage. Once a month I feed them with the MiracleGro fertilizer for acid-loving plants. The soil needs the right PH for a blue bloom.

The bush came in a box that was packed so the bush was not damaged but it did have some brown leaves. My wife planted it the day after we received it plus she always adds fertilizer and waters her plants every day which is very important. We have several Hydrangea bushes on our property and always have good luck with them. This bush comes back every year and they always sprout beautiful flowers. This bush will get up to three feet wide and tall.

I haven't plant them yet, I want to make sure of weather before them out. I will write another review later

My plant arrived well packaged and very healthy, with instructions. The plant has grown rapidly. I've transplanted the hydrangea and hope to not fail it from here. Very pleased so far with the experience. Can't wait for it to bloom.

It’s too early to know. They are thriving but it’s not the growing season for them yet.

It looks good, is very small, but I expect it to grow into a nice plant next spring.

Misleading description. Thought I was purchasing 4.5 QT hydrangeas but really 1 QT. They also were dehydrated, no blooms in summer.

The plant I received was healthy and nice looking.

I ordered my hydrangea a couple of weeks ago. It came quickly, well-packed, and looked very healthy. I planted it the next day and it is growing just fine in its new home. Looking forward to seeing the blooms!

Arrived in excellent condition and quick delivery. needed dwarf for small area.. kept hydrated in sun during the day and inside at night until no threat of frost.. state SC.. planted this week and looking healthy .. would recommend..

It was a healthy plant, but smaller than I thought.

The plants arrived in a very secure and well wrapped package. After planting one of the hydrangeas I noticed that one of the stems had split at the base due to the heavy blooms on the plant. I put a temporary cage around it. I called the Proven Winners company to ask their opinion about the split. They told me it would probably be ok, but sent me a new one without question..would definitely buy from them again.
