Why is it that security systems have 9 channels, yet they only come with 4 or 8 cameras ??? Well thats why I got this single night vision camera, Easy plug n play installation (you must buy addl cable) but running cable and installing was easy and just plugged it in and system automatically recognised it. Provides a great clear sharp picture and good night vision, I finally saw the opossum that was eating peaches off my tree,, A good quality camera for a reasonable price. you will be well satisfied,,,,,

Standard definition, no frills, black and white, indoor or outdoor security camera. This small, lightweight unit can be combined with a motion base to allow for scanned security of viewable area. Good in dim light. Standard RCA connectors. Delivers a low definition quality image to any brand security recorder that accepts RCA inputs. Includes wall or ceiling mounts with handy template pattern for anchor screw placement. No other instructions are included. A very cost effective security choice.

I was a little taken back by the lack of information included in the box, as well as cables. This literally came with the camera, a foot and a half or so of wiring and a template for mounting. I expected at least some sort of minimal installation instructions, even if it just tells me the best course of action for mounting this, and the type of wiring to use. Regardless of the lack of info this camera is still a nice piece of equipment. I did have to find some software to manage the camera and buy extra wiring, but I'm still pleased with the quality, especially the night vision.

I bought this camera to replace one that I accidentally pulled the camera cable from the camera while trying to move it to a better location .Be Cautious if you do move your cameras . In daytime this camera is excellent . At night the view is visible where the cameras beams are aimed . The rest of the are is black in unlighted areas .
