Poor Quality

      Not worth the money
      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this microwave a little over a year and the control panel that shows the time does not work. Something is messed up so when it is 9:13 lets say, it looks like it is 5:13 and is flashing very annoyingly. I will have to pay someone to come fix it probably end up costing more than the microwave.

        Faulty display
        Just over a year old and it has Flashing numbers on the display. Very disappointing.

            Poor appliance
            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave stopped heating after 2 years. The lights stopped working after 6 months (replaced blurbs- still not working). I also found the finish impossible to clean. Always looked streaked. My other easyclean appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, stove), do not have the streaky issue. Very disappointing purchase.

              Broke after 2 years
              Bought this in September of 2020 but couldn't have it installed until March of 2021. The front by the LG pops is popping off which was just cosmetic, but one of the number is blinking and now the inside of the door had a plastic piece break off so the door separates a bit. The best part about this microwave is that the popcorn button works really well.

                Faulty Display
                Microwave is just over about 2 years old and keypad display is already out. Flashes different numbers on the display. Sounds like a manufacture issue and should be covered by LG.

                  Not built to last
                  Over the stove microwave is just over 1 year old and the digits are flickering on the display making it unusable. Talking to friends I learned that this is a common problem with these microwaves. Will LG stand behind them?

                    Good Microwave but needs panel backlight
                    I would have rated this microwave excellent except for the fact that the display panel has no backlight. During the day the functions, and numbers are readable but when the room is dark you cannot see the display and need to turn on a bright light.

                      The worse microwave
                      We have had our microwave for less than 1 year. In less than a couple of months the digital display started going out to the point that now we can barely see the amount of time remaining when we warm up our food. This also affects the clock so we can’t tell the time from the display. We received the microwave as a gift so LG will not repair the motherboard because we do not have a receipt. Do not waste your time purchasing a LG microwave. This has been the worst experience. The picture shows how the clock looked when it first started going out. Now most of the digits have disappeared.

                          Microwave with great performance but dim keypad
                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every picture of this product, to include the one on this survey, on the product packaging, and even in the manual, advertises a highly visible, easily readable keypad; yet, in reality, the keypad is barely readable at all and can only be read when an external, bright light source is shined onto the keypad. This condition impacts the full functional experience of the microwave and leads to diminished brand equity for LG as a result of customer frustration and dissatisfaction with that component of the product.

                                Control buttons flaw
                                The control panel is very dark it is hard to see what buttons to push it needs a backlight also the buttons are hard to get going. They Need to be more sensitive to the touch. Sometimes you have to push them several times to get them to activate. As far as the backlight on the controls that's also the same on the range the different controls are hard to see

                                  This is the 3rd LG Black Stainless microwave I have purchased in the last 6 years for 3 different homes. These appliances class up any kitchen. Look fantastic and work perfectly.

                                        I waited many years to be rid of my hand me down kitchen appliances. This was purchased by us without seeing a display and there were none in stocks at the store. Two weeks later it was delivered and as soon as we unboxed it I knew we had made a good choice. We love its awesome features!

                                          We went back and forth with the range hood and the microwave. We were told it was dated, but we love it and it’s location. It was easy to vent, and enjoy all the amenities it comes with.

                                            Bought this microwave in the middle of October of this year. 45 days later it died and fried the outlet. Home depot told me tough luck.

                                              Panel Details Hard To Read Without Bright Light
                                              Touchscreen panel very difficult to decifer without a really bright light. LG repair showed up quickly, was very nice, but showed a panel replacement that was also hard to see. His advice was to change the lighting in the kitchen.

                                                Great Replacement for Our Recreational Vehicle
                                                We purchased this new microwave oven as a replacement for the one in our Beaver Patriot Thunder Recreational Vehicle. The old microwave was not performing well; this new LG was professionally installed and has the features we need when camping for 1-2 weeks at a time. This was a great additional to the renovations we have been making to this coach!

                                                    Within the first year the light bulb burnt out. Then the next year the digital display is flickering and the entire door assembly has come unglued and falling apart.

                                                      We purchased this microwave oven August 2022. We like all the features on the unit. There is one thing I don't like: The External light is dim. Need to add a switch with a low and high light for the external light.

                                                        Loving my new appliances in my new kitchen
                                                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son gave me a new LG refrigerator and new backsplash so naturally it made my old range and microwave look tacky. Decided I deserved all new appliances so did my research and decided on an LG gas range and new microwave. They are all beautiful, work beautifully and add so much joy to cooking now. The microwave door sticks a bit but I think I just need to get used to it. Stainless steel has such a glamorous look. I am very pleased with my choices and really got my monies worth and yet didn’t spend a fortune.
