[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dryer for a few years now (past the warranty). The auto dry feature does not work. Not sure if it is because Hawaii has a higher level of humidity or a dry peice of clothing touches the sensor and it turns off the dryer and leaves the majority of the clothes still wet. The other major issue is the lint screen frame sticks out and catches anything with a string (draw strings, ladies spaghetti straps, etc) then it will start twisting it, catches other clothes and destroys that peice of clothing and other that gets caught in the twisting. It also rolls up clothes in the twisted heap and those clothes are not fully dried. So not only do you get torn clothes but also wet clothes. The force is so great that it actually broke the lint frame twice. I have to order another part and that is taking 3 weeks to come in so my dryer is out of commission for 3 weeks. TERRIBLE DESIGN flaw! The worse part is this week keep happening over and over again.

I purchased the DLEX4270V dryer in 10/2016 & all was well until the past 6 months when I started noticing that my laundry was getting caught on right side of the lint screen. It doesn’t matter what type of material or the size of the load, if I do not babysit the loads, then it will get caught & become a tightly twisted mess!! I just purchased brand new bedding when this happened & caused 2 little holes where the corners of the lint filter were. No matter how much I try to push the lint screen down into the opening, it will not go down enough to prevent the laundry to get caught. I keep the lint trap clean & there is nothing that would cause it to raise up. My thoughts is that the lint screen is warped. I will go ahead & order a new lint screen & will keep my fingers crossed that I will not have this issue again. I have also questioned the drying sensors as I will change out my laundry quickly after it is done & then put in another load. I will use the cotton/normal setting (usually 50 mins on medium heat) & within 5 mins later, the dryer will do its finished chime & turn off. Then I have to reset the control again or just used the timed drying option. It had been about 2 months since I have tried to used the Static Free setting. I filled the water reservoir & it would Immediately drain & the warning tone would alert me to add water. I did this 2 more times with the one load of laundry. And the last issue...is that I cannot use the Tag On with my 8+ iPhone. I have tried several times but cannot get this dryer (along with my LG WM4270H*A that matches the dryer) to be accepted with my phone. These they only issues I have after owning this set for the past 3 years. I have not called for service as my one year warranty has expired & naturally the issues occurred afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing that is negative I have to say about my stove, is there are solder marks(3 small ones) on the stove and side. I don't have time to mess around with sending it back and waiting for a new one. On the good side, I enjoy cooking on it, and it goes very well with the kitchen. I plan on only owning LG products, in particular, black stainless. I also, like the fact that there are no knobs and five burners makes cooking fast and easy.

We bought the matching washer and dryer set. Both clean and dry ok. I like the multiple settings on the washer... BUT, the washer door has leaked water and the dryer door has leaked lint from day 1! The gasket inside the washer has stained with mildew (and, yes, I keep the door open except when in use) and the corner of the dryer lint filter was ruined by a bra strap getting caught and twisted around it! We like our LG fridge, dishwasher and stove, but not the washer and dryer!

It works ok and cleans clothes well, but it recently started leaking every 3rd or 4th load and we cannot figure out the cause. Very frustrating in a laundry room with no floor drain.

We absolutely love our dryer. Drying selections are perfect for the different types of laundry we have.

Their washers and dryer brake down once the warranty is over. They don’t last long. Cheaply made. I would never buy this brand again. Go with American brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drier often doesn't dry clothes all the way. And when you set it to dry again it turns off early thinking they are dry. The steam function never gets used because it just makes Items wet in spots and the drier shuts off before it's dry. I woukd not buy this again.

We got this washer machine a month ago, to replace my 17 year old washer machine. It is very quiet, the drum is huge and I can fit a lot of clothes at once. It uses little soap and it also saves water. I don’t know what all the cycles work and maybe there are too many cycles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked at other brands but there were always issues and we are family of four with lots of laundry. We haven’t typically chosen LG for appliances but nothing matched these features at this price. After 4 years, the machine is perfect, no issues. Cleans everything to put in it from small loads to comforters. Once setup, it’s set it and forget it. With the pedestal, we never bend to load or unload. Energy consumption is very low. Highly recommended!

Everything checked out good. I had the dryer now for three years so far. I dont like the fact that if --you have exhaust pipe that goes up through the Attic, it will shut the machine off. You have to add a dryer booster fan to pull vacuum on the dryer exhaust pipe. If it senses extra back-pressure it'll shut the machine off. Thus it now is a loss!!! on any advantage to saving on energy. You will have to have an electrician install a boost fan in the attic pipe for the dryer vent going to the roof of the house.

I have had nothing but trouble with this LG dryer. The FlowSense duct clogging indicator feature is fundamentally flawed and has resulted in a dozen calls to LG and Home Depot with no resolution. Please google “FlowSense D80 error” before purchasing this dryer.

The dryer’s steam and refresh functions are fabulous. Clothes are also relatively wrinkle-free when left in dryer after cycle is completed. The best washer/dryer combo I’ve ever owned. Highly recommend!!!

I had LG washer/dryer pair for 17 years without any problems. We moved and I had to get the same brand/same capacity machines. I'm happy with the performance so far, it's been a month, but hopefully they will last.

Super quiet and works great. Only complaint I have is the side vent setup for my house required taking it apart to remove the original duct work. I order up the conversion kit and got it done but I don’t think most people would like to do this major of a job to setup a side vent.

Amazing machines! They are beautifully designed, quite and love all the options. And the capacity is huge!

I absolutely LOVE this dryer! It is very efficient and dries our laundry so fast! We've had this dryer for a week and we're definitely planning on buying the washer that goes with it! It has cut our laundry time literally in half and it's so quiet! I highly recommend this!
