I needed a clear & waterproof 'roof' to replace the canvas top to the grill gazebo which has a CURVED roofline. Mom uses the gazebo for a 'smoking hut' and the canvas started to stretch leaving creating sagging pockets of rain that would leak. These panels are so flexible for the curve and handle the drill for screws (we used screws with attached rubber washers) without any cracking! And ohhh so much more sunshine now!

Made a visor for my son's Mandalorian helmet, worked nicely.

I'm in the process of making wedding signs, I spray painted this with acrylic piece with the frosted glass spray paint and put my letters on! Seriously love the way it came out! This was my test piece, an 8x10 sheet but there's so many different sizes and thicknesses to choose from! Now I can't wait to get a bigger piece of acrylic to do another sign. Highly recommend this product, comparable prices to those online and in other stores.

I'm happy with this Lexan product. I used it to make windows in an old barn and it worked great. It was very easy. I marked out on the protective coating where to cut, and cut it with a jig saw. It cut very easily and cleanly, using a 13 tooth per inch Bosch part # T102BF blade. Lexan scratches easily, so I recommend not remove the protective coating until you're ready to install the lexan.

I wanted to replace the "Window Doilies" in my dining room's cabinets. Originally, I wanted "Glass", but saw this product at Home Depot, and decided to give it a try. It was easy to cut with a regular hand saw, and smooth out the edges with a file. I managed to get things installed, in a total of 4 cabinet doors, in about 2 hours. Much faster than working with "Glass". The finished product is said to be much stronger than "Glass" too. I'm very satisfied with things.

I used the Lexan Sheet to create a Barrier for the guest and the workers to be SAFE with COVED 12 Rating 10

Giving the current circumstances , we used this sheet of Lexan material as a temporary barrier for social distancing. in the past i have use as a temporary glass replacement. material is great /flexible light weight and easy to work with.

searched for a suitable material to repair a damaged acrylic backboard on a basketball goal that suffered some damage. This Lexan was available in store in several sizes and this 12" by 24" fit the bill with only having to be cut slightly to fit. Installed with GE Silicone specifically for Lexan and similar materials. It has been through a hot summer and mild play and still holding well. It's not as thick as the original backboard. It's thick enough and how it was able to attach to effectively patch the problem area. Hoping it holds for years to come.

Lexan Sheet comes with protection on each side of the sheet. It is easy to score and break off the extra with the plastic cutting tool after scoring it at least 10 times. We used it as a bar top over a bottle cap top. It looks just as I pictured it!

The product was easy to work with, and looks like glass once it's installed. The problem is that it scratches very easily. This is not stated in the product information. Simply scraping it with your finger nail can put a scratch in the surface of the material. That is the disappointing part.

great quality! window like appearance with less weight and 10yr no yellowing guarantee. it is exceptionally stronger than glass so cutting and breaking is difficult. I recommend a Dremel to avoid those crooked accidental slip ups from the cutting knife. I used this product to turn a terrarium into a vivarium for my crested gecko. it is now the window and access point for feed and care. needless to say I had to drill and apply hinges to this polycarbonate so that is very possible. drilling was easier than drilling wood just take it slow at first. clean with a very soft rag or microfiber towel as the surface can scratch! I highly recommend this product! I would like to replace all of my windows with polycarbonate in the future. cheers!

This is one of the most durable easy to use plastics. I cut it with a circle cutter and a hole saw and drill, filed the edge and it is installed on the top of a 95 gallon fish tank. No stress cracks and does the job wonderfully.

Awesome product! I used it for a boat windshield, bends easy, easy drilling, and cutting. I used battery operated circular saw and a plywood blade.

Wow! I couldn't hurt this stuff. I cut it, sanded it, thinned it down to about 2 mm or less, heated it, spray painted it, countersunk it, screwed it, and just about jumped on it to see if it would break (but I didn't do that), and now I have a near zero clearance table saw insert! Compared to the insert that came with the saw, with a wide opening for the beveling of the blade, the one I hand made is better than nothing. Loved this product. If you have the patience and have to make something thin like a table saw insert this is the best. I bought it about 6 weeks ago, made the insert, now working on a sled so I haven't used it yet (Still don't want to hurt my creation I guess).

The first item shipped was damaged. I returned it to the nearest HD and they promptly had another one on its way. Thank you HD Customer Support.

Though we still need to attach siding to the coop portion of this summer's "chicken lodge" construction project, we just made and installed hinged windows over screened openings to provide better shelter for our new chickens before winter weather arrives. We chose Lexan Polycarbonate Sheets for their durability, clarity, light weight and ease of attachment to our frames. They look great, the birds are happy and we can still keep an eye on each other. Lexan beats acrylic handsdown. No splintering when cutting and absolutely crystal clear. The only downside is that the surface scratches easily once the film is removed. Good stuff, but a little pricey.

Not only is is strong, I found out from an engineer that it can be bent without heating. So I put a whole sheet in a break and put a 110º bend in it - no problem - no loss of strength, it is amazing material.

Worked fine was intended use.
