This wrench is made in the USA. I have several friends who are iron workers and they all swear by Klein. Can not beat the fact that Klein offers a lifetime warranty on material and workmanship of their product. The tool is made of very strong casted steel. It feels and looks sturdy. I have used this tool to align large and heavy welded structures with great success. It still looks like new. I also found the bend on the tool useful for wrenching on locations were other bolts are present in the same plane.

If you have ever tried to align a bolt hole on a heavy piece of steel or wood, you can immediately appreciate the simple elegance of this tool. The pointed handle end makes short work of aligning those holes while preventing you from doing something stupid like using your finger. It is also quite useful as a pry bar, working ropes in a knot loose, as well as a ton of other uses. This was a daily use tool for me when working offshore. This Klein model is of excellent quality and should last you a lifetime with minimal care.

Nice wrench

Yes it’s great. I bought one two separate times. One has d1 on it and the other one I bought has d2 on it. I assume it’s different harden steel but both work great

Love it. I'm an iron work so I use both ends almost daily. Does what I need it to do and tough.

This spud wrench is a great tool. $50 isn't a bad price for a daily use spud wrench this size. The jaws are thicker than a standard wrench, so tight spaces could be an issue. I would recommend this wrench to anyone doing steel assembly because of the ease in using spud wrenches to cut down on extra tools in your pouch at elevations (i.e. Wrenches & alignment punches).
