I love this processor! Tasks are completed very quickly. No need to add water for shredding, etc.: no need to drain processed food, e.g., shredded cabbage. Easy to clean. Does not fit under standard cupboard heights on the counter. Would be convenient if the storage unit could hold the extra blades that can be purchased separately (set of 5)

Does a good job. Easy to clean. Haven't tried hard cheese yet, that is next.

Bought this as a gift for my wife and we both get a lot of use out of it. It's easy to use and does a great job cutting, slicing, dicing, etc. Only drawback is, it's heavy so you may want to keep it out on the counter.......you'll use it alot, anyway!

OUTSTANDING!! After Looking at several other food procesors I think this is the best one I've ever owned. It's ideal for the experianced chef, or someone just learnig to cook, it may seem a bit on the pricey side but you will really save money if you buy this one first!

This is the greatest food processor that I have ever had, I also have the smaller 3 cup for smaller jobs and kitchenaid is # 1.

I purchased a Kitchen aid food processor, and love it except for one small issue. The design of it has flaws which I've had it replaced 3 times in 6 months. But when it isn't breaking it's excellent. Kitchen Aid has been marvelous, they have sent a new one everytime I call, and have acknowledge they will replace the unit as many times as necessary until the design issue it corrected.

I am techno/mechanically challenged but I found this unit easy to use because all the parts fit together only one way for the unit to work. All parts are rounded to easy cleaning with one wipe. Even the power buttons are reset so they do not trap food and clean with one wipe. I think a woman must have designed this machine. It is good looking and stay on the counter and I use it at least once a week. I love it. By the way I have the cobalt blue.
