I was nervous about getting this product without being able to see it. It was exactly what we wanted. I gave it a 4 only because 1 part was broken, but it was easily glued where it didn’t show. Also the directions for putting it together are horrible. But the finished product is exactly what we wanted and looks great in our kitchen!

Great island!! Perfect for people who just don’t want or can’t afford a kitchen construction zone. Building it wasn’t too bad. All the small details are already fixed and put together (even hinges), you only really have to put ups the sides and top and bottom! Definitely a two person job! Took about 2 hours of nonstop leisurely work. Solid counter top with a beautiful stain.

Overall island is great. It gets 2 stars because the veneer top scratches , and chips incredibly easy. There were multiple chips within the first 2 days. They would've accepted a return, but I would've had to disassemble and ship the entire thing back! I will repair myself with wood filler and lacquer. Don't recommend if you have kids@

I totally love my new kitchen island it was very easy to assemble it is durable and built for kitchen where I highly recommend it to anyone all my friends that have seen it are in love and want to know where I got it

We really like the island. The assembly was challenging, but my grandchildren and I completed the project with few issues. We did make a mistake with the a chair back but the company replaced the chair back. When we installed the top and drop leaf we discovered a major difference between color of the top and the drop leaf. We contacted customer service and the attached photo illustrates where we are. They told me it is their policy to send on one replacement part, but agreed to send another. I hope this works. So before you start this project check the drop leaf and table top to ensure they match.

Solid unit, seems well built. We are pleased with the functionality and the appearance. Assembly instructions are pictures only and pathetic at best. A part damaged during assembly was quickly replaced at no charge, great customer service. We recommend the purchase.

was skeptical about ordering offline without seeing it in person first. but now after receiving building and using it I will 100% recommend this to other customers.

These items were delivered earlier this week and we assembled this weekend. While the description claims it is easy to put together, you have to be a contortionist to fit a few of the pieces and you need two people to assemble. Once together, we really liked it. Lots of storage space (freed up space in our kitchen cabinets) the top is beautiful. Have to say everything was so well packed (tons of packing material to dispose of!) so no scratches or dents. We aren't using this island in the conventional way with the stools under the hinged flap. We have the island close to the wall with the stools on each side. Leaves us much more room to walk around the kitchen than the old table and chairs we had in this space. We rarely eat in the kitchen, preferring to use the dining room or TV tables while watching movies, so this island is perfect for food prep and other activities.

The Island was very easy to assemble and the quality of wood was excellent.It was packaged very well with easy to follow instructions.I love the shelves on each side for our treasures to be displayed.The extra cupboards and shelves underneath are great for more storage.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to add to their kitchen.

The unit itself appears to be very sturdy and the chairs are as well. Very easy to assemble. Looks very attractive in the kitchen. Top 2 drawers were slightly off center and there were a few small nicks in the bottom portion of the base.

Islands packaging was superb. No damage or scratches. Assembly was easy. Island has a leaf that drops or stays up with brackets. Storage on the sides is nice for coffee cups and can opener whatever you don't use a lot and want out of your way. Inside storage is great for bowls for baking at least for me. Our kitchen is small and the island is perfect for eating at and preparation. Sharp looking chairs are large and comfortable. Received about a month ago no regrets.

Bought this Island with the matching chairs and I love the Unit however the chairs are not worth the extra money. While the chairs are easy enough to put together the supports aren't even and there are large gaps in where they are suppose to fit. One of the chairs pre drilled holes for the supports are in the wrong place so the chairs do not match. See Photo. A little disappointed.

The product more than meets our expectations. The problem was it was shipped in 5 boxes and we received one at a time with the top piece (the main section) getting lost and had to re-order. Sat in the middle of our kitchen for 2 weeks w/o a top. I'm thinking the problem was UPS not Home Depot. Home Depot got on it and shipped another top right away. Very pleased now both with the island AND Home Depot.

This island is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. Assembly was very easy. The only problem I have with my island is that the wooden top has cracked. It has been repaired once but the crack has continued.

This was exactly what we were looking for to complete our kitchen remodel.

Although I’ve had the Island for only a couple of weeks, I absolutely love it. The Island is the perfect size for my kitchen. It is attractive and sturdy (chairs too). My husband and I put the unit together in a couple hours....we encountered a bump along the road ...the right door wouldn’t cooperate and close properly, but finally figured it out. Terrific!

It is a great island, and it is what we needed for our house.

Island was easy to assemble. At times you do need two people unless you have four hands. All components fit together flawlessly. Only concern I had were what the manufacturer considers simulated / fake worm holes on the top of the counter top. To me they looked more like something that punched holes in the top during the manufacturing process. The holes need to be in a more random pattern.

I absolutely love it. Super easy to build. Met my expectations. I use it daily. And I love seeing it in my kitchen. Its sturdy and holds up well to the abuse I do to it.

Other than struggling with the heavy boxes, my daughter and I easily put this together working on it over a couple of nights. I'm planning to replace the top with Granite but not sure of the weight bearing capacity.??? The "distressed look" includes what looks like worm holes, but this is not entirely attractive in a kitchen in my opinion. We also bought the 2 matching chairs, and they are really sturdy! I was surprised.

I am absolutely astonished that this product sells. I purchased this island and when putting it together, noticed there were multiple holes in the top as well as the chair seats. I called the manufacturer thinking that they were missed by their Quality Team, only to be told that they are normal, as they are part of their stress testing of the wood. I again told her that there are HOLES in the wood, and she restated that it is "normal". How can a product that you pay over $800.00 for have multiple areas with holes in it be Normal??? I was told I could return the product for a refund, which I promptly did. So, thinking that she must have been wrong, I ordered it a second time... NOPE... EXACT SAME THING... Multiple areas with HOLES... At least this time I opened it at the store, and returned it right there! I do not know how anyone can buy this product. P.S. Overall Rating is ZERO!!!

Solid Wood, Picture is a mirror to what was built. Wife has never been happier to have an Island in the kitchen!

This island is well made, very sturdy and was assembled without any issues. It arrived safely and I can't wait to fill it. The chairs are also well made and very comfy.

We moved into a smaller home which is really in need of updates. However, we don't have a lot of money to spend. This kitchen island was the perfect solution! It's very high quality, functional, and looks beautiful! Only drawback ... it was a little tricky fitting one of the pieces together. Luckily, my husband is handy. And the customer service/support was excellent.

Was just what we wanted. Easy to put together, all parts fit, and holes lined up fine. Fit perfectly in the space. (small kitchen)

Great Island! Love the decor and how strong it is! Easy to put together, only took a couple of hours. As you can see it looks great in the kitchen! Thank You Home Depot!
