This unit after about 20 minutes of assembly and the little bit of puzzlement over the warnings that it should not be used for "frying turkeys" but included recipes for frying virtually everything else turned out to work wonderfully. So far I only used the big burner, that is the 150,000 BTU jet burner, which in fact roars like a jet engine in the backyard. It heated my 15 gallon frying pot to my preferred temperature of 395° inside of 20 minutes and was able to maintain the heat in the oil even with 10 pounds of chicken wings. I will also use this to heat my cast iron pan for blackened fish and within 5 minutes I can have a glowing red pan for perfect blackened fish. I'm very impressed with the performance so far but will caution anyone that a large burner like this will use gas at a higher rate than the usual 30 to 45,000 BTU burners in the turkey fryer sets. Overall I recommend this unit and BTW it fries turkeys just fine as an off label use
