Shade looked like a crumpled paper bag. Ugliest lamp I have ever seen. Needless to say, returned it.

The lamp is great, expect it to keep a couch a couple inches from the wall due to its base and baseboards, but otherwise it’s nearly perfect. We added a dimmer plug with Alexa functions and we couldn’t be happier.

The lamp works well for our application - behind a guest bed. The lamp allows for reading in bed without having to have a side table on either side of the bed. It is a small bedroom with limited wall space.

I've had this lamp for a few years and love it. It puts out significant light (300 watts) compared to similar styles by other manufacturers, sits flush against the back of my 112-inch couch, and has only given me minor problems with the rotary switch. I started searching for a replacement online only because my husband lost his balance getting up one day and ripped two of the three shades while stumbling around. The shades are much like crushed paper linen and have metal reinforcement rings at both the top and bottom, but they were no match for his 200+ pounds. After hours of searching, I will happily buy it again!

The structure is okay, but the lamp shades are like paper toweling. which looked absolutely horrible, it made the lamp look extremely cheap. I had to purchase lamp shades in order for this Arc Lamp to look nice. It was easy to put together. This is the only thing about ordering online, you cannot see what your actually getting. It's much better if you can see these items in the store.

Just what we wanted, at a great price.

Looks good but doesn't work. I guess it's the cheapo switch they put on it. You go through the switch positions and nothing happens. Now I have to deal with boxing it back up and sending it back.

Install not too difficult, follow directions and you are good, looks nice after.
