Great Toilet
I did a bathroom update and decided to update the toilet the 30 year old Kohler toilet as well. Nothing wrong with the old one, replaced everything else to Devonshire and decided to complete it. It's a half inch higher than the old one and elongated versus the old round one. It has a much bigger footprint than the one before - takes up more room in an already small room. I love the style of it, matches the tub, fixtures, etc. The flushing is great and loving the water flushing 360 degrees to assist in cleaning the whole bowl.

Be certain you know what “comfort height” is. I was not aware of this specification and ended up with a seat 2” inches higher than expected. HD needs to do a better job of setting expectations!

Kohler's Comfort Height, by definition found on us.kohler.com, states: "The height of a toilet bowl (with seat) that stands at the same height as a standard chair measuring between 17” and 19” for maximum comfort and ease when sitting down or standing up." All of our Comfort Height toilets measure 16-1/2" from the floor to the rim of the bowl (before seat). All Kohler standard height toilets will measure under 16" (without the seat). The new design of the toilet bowl has a higher flow rate that flushes just like a toto toilet does. The base is also deeper in length which stabilize the footing and the seating height is almost 2 inches taller. A far better design than the original.

Happy to find this design as it matches my pedestal sink. Base was the same as my old toilet but holes on top did not match my old tank Had to replace both tank and base 4 stars as plumber came out and couldn't install with old tank

Really like the look. Had an issue with the first one came with a broken bowl, so had to have plumber come back 3 weeks later to install second. That addded to cost.

For the large price due to color, we were disappointed in the quality of a Kohler product. The tank has a large crack in it that looks like they glazed over it, hopfully it won't leak. (bought separate) The bowl itself has large portions that have no glaze at all, nothing that will be too obvious from the front, but still, when you are purchasing a product, you want it a grade A, not subpar.
