Form and Function....
This Kohler product exceeded my expectations... The install was fairly simple with the clear and concise instruction manual... Install took less than 1 1/2 hours... Love these doors... Wish I had gotten rid of the old shower curtain years ago... The style and quality justify the price, imho...

This is a beautiful set of doors... extremely easy to install and adjust, and has great instructions. I would have given it 5 stars, but the wall anchors it comes with are 5 cent pieces of junk. It comes with 10... and out of those 10, 7 just spun in the holes I drilled in the fiberglass. Due to the way the sides insert in the bottom threshold before you put in the screws, it's a nightmare to get them back out. Then you are at a work stop while you go out to the store to get decent anchors. For an expensive and fairly high end door set, the installation hardware should be much better.

Door spacing too wide, lets water out
I was excited for a new door for my tub/shower combo. Once it was installed with the riculously wide center guide, the doors are so far apart from each other they look horrible and water comes through. The door doesn't reach the tub either.

Hi srslyangry, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with the gap between your two showerdoors. If the leaking is happening between the shower doors, the door size should be checked. If the door is too small for the opening of your shower, it would create a smaller overlap. This showerdoor is designed to fit an opening of between 56-5/8" and 59-5/8". When using the shower, the showerhead should be pointed away from the glass panel. I like this system, appearance and functionality. I found the installation directions to be concise and accurate. As with any product like this, installation requires care in locating and drilling mounting holes.
The doors move smoothly on the rollers and bottom guide.

High quality, easy installation
I did a lot of research before choosing this door. I installed it easily by myself as could any competent DIYer. The instructions were detailed and the hardware and parts were blister-packed in order of installation. The look as installed is clean and modern. The only negative I have is the interior towel bar which just begs someone to grab hold of it. Kohler should really just supply two knobs for the interior door. Other than that, I'm really glad I chose this Kohler shower door.

One wall bracket is two inches shorter than the other....
One wall bracket is two inches shorter than the other. Kohler support person did not seem very knowledgeable and she was largely unhelpful (didn’t know which was the correct length - the left one or the right one - and the length she mentioned they should be was neither the actual length of either bracket). Now I have holes drilled in my new tile that will be visible once I finish the job. Will have to return it to HD and start over.

3" minimum flat surface area for track
Dont know if this is a nice unit or not because I didnt see the 3" min flat surface area for track until I had discarded the box and cut the bottom trim.....This is unusually large and not necessary, I have installed many shower doors. Shame on me for not reading the installation instructions all the way through however this information should be clearly stated....

looks great, but function leaves a lot to be desired
This shower door looks great in these pictures and thats why I got it. But dont get this unless you want to have water getting everywhere or add fixes that will make this look much worse. I got the tub version and the doors are not low enough to block out all of the water even when you set the doors at the lowest level. I still have a lot of water splashing iht kf the tub and needed to buy a seal to prevent some of the splashing, which makes everything look worse. The bar that the doors sit on to slide is also very very low. Im 5’9” and I occasionally hit the bar when entering my tub, so if youre over 5’10” get another door. Heck, just get another door. Kohler needs to go back to the drawing board with this one

Hello JoeN, my name is Sarah with Kohler Co. I am sorry to hear your Levity shower door is leaking beneath. I am happy to help! Depending on the location of the leaking, here are our recommendations. When using the shower, the showerhead should be pointed away from the glass panel. The inside panel should be closest to the showerhead when running. If the leaking is occurring under the threshold we suggest checking the shower ledge to see if there are curved corners between the wall and bottom ledge. If so, the wall jambs should be trimmed and filed to match the curvature on the shower ledge. Lastly, the threshold should be sealed with 100% silicone. We suggest removing the silicone and reapplying it along the front surface of the threshold and along where the wall jamb and shower ledge meet.
