At this point, we have had the Kelston Comfort Height toilet installed for 2 weeks. The Review keeps changing my recommendation to buy it to “yes” when I marked the “no” circle. We like the previous Koehler toilet we purchased, but I do not recommend buying the Kelston. We like that the ice gray color on the elongated toilet seat, which we had to buy separately, matches the toilet; that it saves on water with a short flush for just liquids and a longer flush for solids; and we are satisfied with the taller stool height. However, the points with which we are not satisfied are that some of the parts were missing and we had to wait to receive them before installing the toilet; the connection of the flush box to the commode is flexible so that if one leans back, the tank moves; also, the top of the longer seat lid pushes back the tank lid to be even with the front edge of the tank, which doesn’t look right; and last of all, the handle is too far back on the tank. One has to reach way back to flush it, which we never considered when purchasing it. It is an annoying inconvenience for us who use it everyday. There were no reviews about this particular toilet, so there was no way to know these things before installing it. I hope this helps any future toilet shoppers.

This is the 2nd Kohler toilet we've purchased within the last 2 1/2 years. The comfort height is great and the flushing power works well. The tank lid on this Kelston model, however, does not fit well. There are gaps on both outside edges of the tank lid and it moves noisily when sitting on the seat. It seems like it was manufactured by separate dimensions from the tank. I have not yet contacted Kohler, but after reading other reviews, it seems like a consistent problem. I wish I'd noticed that before purchasing.

Excellent quality and design.

I really like the toilet, but it leaked during installation. There were porcelain fragments from drilling holes wedged in the gasket so it did not sit properly. Once I replaced the gasket, everything was fine.

The item was ordered online. It sat in the local Home Depot for over a week before I was notified. And then the item was missing the installation kit. The plumber had to buy it for another $20 and another $50 for his time. LJ at the Trumbull store seemed to be the only person that got it right.

Flush power is good. Chain in tank for flushing mechanism keeps getting stuck. So toilet runs. Didn't notice first time and ran about 8 hours.

A little pricier than we wanted but our plumber said Kohler was top of the line, so we went for it. Forget about turbo flush, this product is amazing& worth every penny.

Purchased two of these toilets. Also got the Kohler Grip-tight Cachet Q3 Seat to go with them. So glad we did. Great combo, wonderful height, appreciate the elongated bowl. Was afraid the low water flush might not get the job done, but it is powerful for very little water. Would highly recommend

We have had this over a year now and are very happy with it. It is narrower than most of the toilets so looks good in our small bathroom.

Nice toilet. Came to store broken but they replaced it right away. Easy to install. Very nice height. Easy way to update my bathroom. Price was right. Put a soft close toilet seat which added a nice touch.

I bought this toilet for my dad. I had to order it because he wanted a grey toilet to replace the old grey one in his bathroom. The ice grey is a great color; much nicer than the dull grey of the old toilet. My dad says that he likes the new one much better than the old. If he's happy, I am happy.

Nice toilet and it flushes very efficiently. Unfortunately, it was missing a part and had to home depot to buy a replacement part. I called Kohler about the missing part but they are only open Monday through Friday 9 to 5!

This toilet was a snap to install and works great. Not only is it a beautiful color (I got sandstone), but it has a powerful, fast flush and there is none of that having to flush several times, like there is with most low flow toilets. One flush does it. I'm SO happy with my purchase!

I picked up the toilet ok but then the problems started. Had diffculty after that i had a problem when i did get in touch with the plummer. When they finally got in touch with me i schedule and appointment. They got here and looked at the toilet that home depot sent and told me i had been sent the wrong toilet and they could not install it and i would have to order another toilet. Did that.

We were pleased with the purchase after install. Parts availability (should they ever be needed) was what drove the decision. Some of Kohler's cheaper competitors (American Sta......) can't get parts...out of China. No, most people don't throw their toilet away these days if it breaks like they do a television...
