I bought 4 of these a little over a year ago and I had to replace three of them, now one of the ones I bought as a replacement has come apart. The ring just falls off. They look great but now I've got a mess. I would not recommend this ring.

The Devonshire Towel Ring in polished chrome is beautiful. It was easy to install and is very sturdy. I wish the ring itself was metal like the holder so the finish would last longer; however, I suppose in 10 years someone would want to upgrade anyway. We have had for a month. We are changing all of our faucets and accessories to Devonshire. It truly is timely and beautiful.

This comes in 2 pieces the wall mount and the towel ring. When you screw in the ring to the wall mount and get it tight, it will NOT hang straight on the wall, regardless if you turn it left or right. So to get the mounted ring flush to the wall and hanging straight down, you have to NOT screw the ring into the mount all the way. That means that there is some ‘swing” in the ring, when you put on and/or take off the towel. SHOULD ALLOW ONE TO DO TIGHT ON THE MOUNT AND STILL HANG DOWN STRAIGHT TO PUT ON YOUR HAND TOWEL.
