We love the shape, color, and how well the Gabrielle toilet works and we were even fine with paying the relatively high price for it. It would have received a 5 star rating EXCEPT the shape of the tank top does not match the shape of the tank. It is like no one ever checked to see if the tank top fit well on the tank it sits on. I've tried to ignore the mismatch and get used to it, but still every time I use the toilet this obvious difference in shape bugs me.

The bowl did not have enough staining around the rim.

Toilet was easy to install and it works great. It is quiet, especially during fill after a flush. My wife likes the height of the seat. It's a little higher than our previous toilet.

Punctual, orderly, great installation, and clean-up.

We are very happy with the toilet style and flushing mechanisms. I wish I could have seen floor samples of the colors. It seems like they could offer the toilet seats or just sample porcelain pieces to show color. Anyway, I'm okay with our choice in "cashmere" but I wish I choose something else.

Very nice looking. I was going to buy the Kohler that cost $300 more, but my husband wanted to buy this one to save the money. It looks great and works well. It doesn't have a loud flush and matches our 30 year old Kohler pedestal sink perfectly!

I am a little disappointed with the lack of power on the piston flushing. I have a 5 year old of the same toilet and the piston flushing is much stronger.

We like the toilet a lot... However, the Kohler quality appears to be decreasing from when we last purchased. (Over the past few years, we have replaced older kohler toilets in 6 bathrooms and this was the last). The only complaint so far has to do with the quality of the tank/lid finish. We purchased the toilet and installed it, only to realize that there was a sharp edge to the tank lid. (sharp enough to cut my friend's hand). Home depot was very good about replacing the lid for us.. When the new tank lid arrived, we realized that the lid alone was not the problem. Apparently, the glaze/finish on the lid and tank are done at the same time, and the lid fit is dependent on the top edge finish on the tank. So, the new lid did not fit correctly. We had to uninstall the toilet and order a new toilet. Such an inconvenience. To Home Depot's credit, they were very accommodating (gave a discount and arranged for delivery and pickup to our home). But it really was a Kohler problem and not Home Depot's fault. This process took over a month. To top things off, I noticed 2 small defects in the glaze finish on the new toilet's bowl.. I had to order touchup paint from Kohler (over $100 for a tiny bottle).

I was very pleased with this toilet. The color (Ice Gray) was perfect for our new, light gray painted master bathroom. The toilet quality is excellent. Even the toilet seat, with it soft-close feature, is excellent. I would definitely recommend this Kohler Gabrielle toilet to others. A+

The Kohler toilet uses significantly less water which reduces our water bill. It flushes thoroughly with ONE flush. The height is perfect for our elderly knees. I recommend it highly.

Although this toilet is a bit on the pricy side, it works flawlessly and is extremely easy to clean. Quality item!

This is very similar to the San Souci but has a slightly larger bowl and taller tank. It's a good choice if space is not an issue. The taller tank results in more water pressure and a very powerful flush for such a small amount of water per flush. Since the tank has more capacity then only about half of it is used for each flush but it works flawlessly. The larger bowl is also a little deeper and retains a decent amount of water between flushes. This, along with the built in glaze, results in the bowl staying quite clean with little maintenance. It is recommended, however, to use a bowl mop for cleaning as the usual stiff bristled brush can eventually scratch the glaze thereby reducing its effectiveness.

I'd like to give it five stars, but the top of the tank does not fit the contour of the tank as well as I expected for a toilet this expensive. That is a real discipointment. Dennis Morden

It works and looks great. Its very quiet and comfortable.

Very disappointed. With the price of this toilet, I was expecting for something with decent quality. I bought three of this toilet for my house. After less than a year, two of them already start to leak. After flushing, the toilet sometimes would leak, and the water just keep running. I have to flush it multiple times, so that the toilet can finally fill up and stop leaking water.
