Just finished installing this faucet last nite. Not the easiest to install, but far from the hardest - took me about 2 hours and I'm pretty handy. Depends on your sink style, connecting the handles and faucet wasn't hard, but connecting the water lines was a little difficult. It was hard turning wrenches to tighten the two water lines that connect from handle to faucet. However don't let that stop you, because the long threads also means you can use this with any counter, thick or thin. Also note that you will need plumbers putty under each piece, would be nice if they already had a small rubber gasket like other faucets do, but again, not a deal-breaker. Out of the box everything was wrapped nicely in a protective wrap, and then again with bubble wrap. It includes everything you need except the supply hoses to connect to your house plumbing. Installing the handles was very easy due to the ring that screws on, and then is tightened with two additional screws. No need to try and wrestle with a large wrench under the sink as you sometimes have to with lower end units. This was a huge time saver. And the main faucet itself is held in place with a large washer tightened by one nut. Again, very easy to work with. Once installed the faucet has a classic, timeless look to it. Without turning it on, you would think it flows water close to the counter, making a mess, however the spout is actually angled out slightly so the water is shooting forward, towards you a bit. And the aerator actually makes the water come out very smooth, almost crystal clear. Some aerators agitate and make the water look white out of the faucet, this is the opposite. Water pressure was pretty good, but I may still replace the aerator with something that has more flow. I just prefer more than 1.2gpm. The handles turn quite smoothly, with firm stops at both ends. And they didn't show fingerprints as well, another bonus. Very happy overall, and expecting years of use.

Package arrived missing a connection hose. Impossible to get at Home Depot. Should have just gone to local plumbing store and bought faucet and other supplies.

Assembly and installation was straight-forward and undersink mounts simplified. The depth of the nozzle portion not sufficient based on height of fixture. Water emits and strikes the back of the sink rather than near to center and drain.

Kohler faucets are always well made and this Archer 8 in. widespread was for a matching Archer 8 in. widespread pedestal lavatory. It is in the satin nickel finish and looks great in a rebuilt half bath that is a complete Kohler Archer suite. The faucets are an easy quarter turn and operate smoothly. The mid-arc spout put out a good stream of water that is in the right place relative to the basin. It has been in use about a month and does everything flawlessly. The flaw is that, apparently, Kohler probably never installed this faucet on this lavatory to discover the manufacturing error. You must field modify the connection to the pop-up drain. Otherwise it is simple to install and works wonderfully. The only other significant issue is that the response from Kohler Customer Service was 100 percent non-existent when I reported the design flaw.

The piece that goes around to seal and frame the faucet was missing. We used an old piece form the faucet that was being replaced. I did not want to have to pay for plumber to come out a second time to install piece. Kohler sent the extra piece at a later date. I have not called the plumber to come and put the piece on because of the cost and they will have to take the entire faucet out. Kohler piece # 1067113-CP was missing. The faucet is very nice but the fact that pieces are missing from Kohler box is not good service.

The water flow is quiet and and feel is very nice and high quality. Extremely solid, so no wiggly cheap parts.

This is a excellent faucet for the price. I have used it on pedestal and standard sinks and it's a little tricky to install but not a issue if you are a pro or hire one. It works on small or large sinks so I really don't know why people complain about installation issues. I can call it one of my favorites at this price point for the style and quality you get with this faucet.

I bought this faucet on my pedestal sink. I love the vintage gooseneck look. It looks perfect. I can't be happier. The plumber got it installed with ease. He didn't have any complain. I'm surprised how other people said it's not possible to use with pedestal sink.

High quality look & feel. Very nice feel to the handles. The treads on the faucet "post" are long enough to accommodate a thicker (3mm) granite countertop. Delta faucets that ordered to look at style required an extension kit, that was not mentioned anywhere, so not only costs another $20 each, but delays your project if you don't anticipate needing this.

Just had my installer put this in yesterday--without a single problem! The look is very high-end at a reasonable price (it was $249 in store) My only concern is the arch could be a little bit longer to prevent a lot of splashing especially if younger children will be using it. The finish of the brushed nickel is perfect for not leaving any finger-prints compared to the chrome finish which it also comes in if you like your sink area to always look clean. Overall, nice solid and well designed!

this faucet was the most difficult ever to install. kohler should stop producing this product. for the price it should be top quality and it is not. very disappointing. 6 hours to install and still not happy.

I love the look of this faucet, after looking over faucet after faucet. I finally felt I found the best one. I love the quality of Kohler, and my whole bathroom is Kohler fixtures, but this faucet's depth of the gooseneck is way to short. With the sink we bought, and now trying our second sink, the faucet barely clears the back of the sink bowl. Very disappointing.

Found this to be about $45 less at home depot so i ended up ordering several other items that were the same price as our original place. Great deal and looks great

The bar is too short to correctly match the lever for the drain mechanism onto a pedestal sink. Contractor tried to "make it work" but It does not work at all. I am returning it. The contractor or I could not find information to this product online or on the package indicating it could not be used for a pedestal sink.

I am a big fan of other Kohler products (sinks, toilets) but the Archer faucet looks better online than in person. The brushed nickel finish looked flawed and uneven, and the style was not impressive. I returned it (Home Depot makes returns so easy!) I will stick with Price Pfister faucets and Kohler sinks. Great combination!

nice design, elegant looks. water stream is perfect. a little difficult to install....could not get the drain stopper stem in place no matter how we tried. I don't ever stop the drain, so it wasn't important to me, but it could be to others. Overall I love the faucet.
