I orginally purchased an American Standard rear flush toilet .When I picked it up it was cracked , because it was no longer in stock Home Depot upgraded my toilet to a Kohler, at the same price of the discounted America standard. Wow what great customer service! ! I am extremely please with the Kohler flushes instantly gone in a flash.

I bought this toilet a month ago and had my plumber install it. After 3 days of wonderful use it started shooting water out between the tank and the bowl when flushed. This is the pressure lite tank so it flushes with some authority. Plumber came out and tightened up the tank a bit , and all was leak free for 3 days. Then it starts doing the same thing. Shooting water out between the tank and bowl upon flushing. The seal between the tank and the bowl needs to be re-engineered. The plumber is scared to tighten the tank further...afraid the porcelain will crack. HELP

This tank that I ordered, took over 2 months to receive, thanks to a lousy shipping company that broke 5 of them before I received one that I could install. When I installed it, I found the patented "flush mate" system, in the tank, required that I contact the company to answer my questions as to why there is a loud "air hammer" sound when you flush, and after speaking to 3 support techs, their advice was to unscrew a hex cap and look at the little rubber "bill" valve to see if it was defective, it looked fine, so I put it back in according to the tech help, and then it was leaking and no matter what was done, 6 times, and then was told I now needed a new part. I returned it and found another tank with a simple type of flush valve that has been around for years, rather than one with complicated parts and instructions, as this model has.

I was having issues with my American Standard clogging just about every time I used the restroom. No possible way with this unit. If you want it.....don't put it in this because it is GONE!

Not as loud as I expected based on other reviews and does the job! Our toilet had been clogging nearly every day. Now, not once yet!

This the 5th one we have bought during our house renovations. We noiticed that yyou have to ensure a snug connection between the bowl and base but you can't overtighten the bolts. It's trial and error as the bowl will leak if the connections are loose but take care to not overtighten the bolts!!

Be sure when you are ordering a tank for your bowl that they are compatible. We ordered this with a bowl as they were from the same collection and the website listed this as a suggestion to go with the bowl. Got here after we had already installed bowl and put it on top and it didn't flush at all, found out later that it actually doesn't go with the bowl and ended up having to order one that was $600!! because we couldn't take the bowl out after we set it into the floor and so maybe it may work if it is on the correct bowl but for us it was a huge headache and hope Home Depot comes up with a way to flag your items if they don't work with eachother.

Great toilet tank

Once you experience a powerful flush like this, there's no going back to ordinary toilets. It was very easy to install and so far I didn't have to make any adjustments to the pressure tank.

Defective I had to replace actuator. $30. Very disappointed.

The toilet functions great. It has a very powerful flush and is more noisy than a conventional toilet. My wife doesn’t care for the added noise.

Flushes very well. Noise is not that loud as I thought it would be.

The flush on this toilet is explosive and noisy...very startling, but definitely clears the passage so no blockage buildup.

We purchased this toilet because we have had problems with other toilets clogging. This toilet has a powerful flushing mechanism and so far, no clogs. It is louder than most toilets however which didn't bother us at all.

Great buy just what we needed

The toilet is fantastic. It’s so powerful it can flush a bale of hay down the drain. Unfortunatethe Kohler-made flush linkage that drives the actuator did not work correctly. I strongly recommend spending $30.00 to buy the Flushmate universal linkage for this unit.

I am unable to submit a ‘how is it workin’ critique because the first two toilets, we only installed one, arrived broken. We ordered a third but that was much delayed. We were afraid that that that one would arrive broken as well and canceled the order. We bought the same toilet at a supply house.
