Didn't know about tall and long toilets until we rented a vacation house in Idaho that had them. We are a tall family which makes these easier to use. We installed it in the Master Bath in a few minutes with simple tools and no problems. I topped it off with a matching tank with a easy to reach top pull flush handle, another must for tall people. We are so happy with the comfort and appearance of this product we are thinking of adding one to our guest bath too.
