We ordered the biscuit color from homedepot.com and had it shipped to our local store in Rockwall, TX. The first sink that arrived looked ok at first but its a good thing we inspected underneath all the styrofoam because a large, about 1 inch chunk of enamel was broken off of one corner. The packaging for these sinks is terrible for how much they weigh. The second sink we received a week later was filthy and it took some effort to find the stress cracks in the enamel... On to round 3.. The third sink we received had a very thin layer of enamel and you could see the cast iron color showing through the enamel on the corners. At that point we gave up and decided to look for another manufacturer. Unfortunately, Kohler seems to have a bit of a monopoly on these types of sinks so we decided to try once more involving a Kohler representative for HD. They carefully shipped another sink and it looked good and acceptable, but it is not perfect... We have noticed a few small blemishes after installing and cleaning the sink. The cast iron was warped, so it did not fit flat out of the box.

The sink is still brand new so I can't respond to the long term impact, but initially, it looks great and seems to be very much what we wanted. In particular it is the only cast iron sink that we could find that has the bigger bowl on the right side (which is what we were looking for).

Ichanged out my old stainless sink and replaced it with this. Very good looking and functional. Also very heavy requiring two persons to set it in place. My stainless cookware does leave marks on it though but they can be removed easily with SoftScrub.

No hum-drum stainless steel here! My new Kohler cast-iron sink in the "biscuit" color is a beauty. The light color and shine perked my kitchen right up. My husband was a bit ambivilant about the 60/40 split, but now, as it's been several weeks since we installed it, he admits I made a good choice. (Always love to hear those words!) The larger portion of the sink readily accepts large, bulky items for scrubbing, and the smaller part of the sink is just right for the smaller chores: quick rinses, a bit of hot, soapy water to wash things down--perfect! Kohler makes such an outstanding, quality product, we'll love the use of this sink for years.

This sink is 130 pounds of well made cast iron and enamel. It's what I wanted but the garbage disposal side that I use the most actively is smaller then I expected and harder to work with. If I had had known I would have pick another configuration.

Heavy duty and well made with a nice finish. It is heavy, as it should be since it is cast iron, but with two people it installed fast

It was on time and there was no damage. No hassles. I got what I ordered.

Product was defective. Builder was ready to install the sink and he found it had a large factor defect right on the front. We returned it but now have to go without a kitchen sink until a new one is shipped to us. Bought a Kohler and expected it to be good quality.
