Customer Reviews for KOHLER Underscore 5 ft. Rectangle Right Drain Soaking Tub in Almond

My husband and I purchased this bathtub for a bathroom remodel; however, the installation guide fails to address the installation of the front since this alcove model has a large flange on the front. The lip/flange is not large enough for a 2" x 4" to fit for framing and the installation guide did not provide instructions for this area. We even contacted Kohler's Product Support team and spoke with Paige. We hoped, based on the description of this team on Kohler's website, that they would be able to answer questions regarding the installation and troubleshooting in a knowledgable manner. Instead, they proceeded to read the same installation guide we had and could not provide any help on how to install. Kohler is not even able to provide photos of this model installed so we can see how others have installed. At this point, based on the lack of help from Kohler themselves and the poor reviews, we are left with returning the bathtub and purchasing one from a different company!

The first tub arrived chipped and scratched. Kohler promptly replaced it. However the second tub cracked while being installed. This is a poorly made tub. Read the other reviews and save yourself the trouble!
