This is an excellent toilet. It is comfortable, looks nice and trim, and has a good flush. We've had it for a month and will be buying another one for our second bathroom.

Awesome toilet
I recently bought this chair height toilet with a bidet seat for my wife. Without giving tmi it flushes great, looks great. is a great toilet. I have put it to the test. For those saying it will not flush I wonder if they are pushing the handle down lol.

Overall look and performance are good. It flushes fast and clean with little water compared to my old toilet. I am pleased overall. The only complaint i have is the toilet seat. It is not as comfortable to sit on. I wish it comes with a better seat.

Comfort height toilet is the best!
This is our second comfort height toilet. I didn't realize I ordered the one with a right-hand trip lever, but just like the first toilet, this one is great in all aspects. We like these Kohler products so much, we will be ordering a third for our newest bathing this autumn.

Great seat, comfy, good seat height, back is right height, easy cleaning BUT it gets clogged! Nothing but TP & what comes out my body goes into the bowl, yet I somehow clogged it up. I know this thing can flush golf balls, but I don't crap golf balls. $600, Wasted! Don't buy this.

Hi EWS, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm truly sorry to hear your San Souci toilet has clogged. We suggest using a Force Cup Plunger which will allow you to get proper suction on this toilet. A plunger of this style can be seen online here: http://goo.gl/6oNRRt. While this type of plunger will work well to remove a clog, we would like to provide troubleshooting tips to prevent a clog in the future. We first recommend that you check the canister chain inside the tank. The chain connecting to the trip lever should be taut. If there is any slack, it should be tightened to remove the slack. The water level can also be checked. The water level in the tank should be at the water line which is marked on the inside back wall of the tank or on the flush valve. The refill tube can be checked as well. It should be connected at both ends connecting the fill valve to the center of the canister valve. If either end is disconnected, it should be pushed back into place. If you are still having problems or have any questions, please contact our Customer Service team at KohlerCustServ@kohler.com. We would like to make a few suggestions that we feel will help to improve the performance of your toilet. The chain connecting to the trip lever should be taut. Pleased with fixture so far.Has reasonable amount of flush capability, considering it is a gravity and low flow toilet.Flushing mechanism got stuck periodically, which prevented the water from shutting off. Wasting water in the process, if you left the room without knowing it had happened!Customer service recommended shortening the chain on the lever to alleviate the possibility of the excess being caught on the fill piston. It seems to have solved the issue so far.

I love the 1 piece design. Howwever, the flushing mechanism doesn't close off. The water continues to run until we lift the tank cover & stop it.

Hi Susan, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am sorry your toilet is not shutting off at the end of the fill cycle. Typically this is due to debris, typically mineral deposits, which have come through the line and lodged in the fill cap, blocking the seal from closing.
