Wonderful sink!
We needed a large sink to accommodate the huge pots my husband uses when home brewing and the Riverby ended up being our only option in the color we wanted. I was hesitant about a single bowl sink as I've always had double bowl models, but I LOVE this sink! The one hole for the faucet cleans up the clutter on the back of the sink and the single bowl is working well for everything from dog bathing to washing up a few small items. I really like the ice gray color as an alternative to stainless steel. We are very happy with our purchase.

Love the sink
Replaced a double bowl sink with this new large single bowl. I love the Kohler faucet that we bought to go with it. I like the accessories that came with the sink.

This is a good sink but I'm really disappointed right now. Great shape/look/functionality etc .. However, after 5 months of use it has many scratches on the bottom. We try to be careful but the coating on this is not very hard. I cannot imagine what we are doing wrong. We have only 1 ceramic knife and all our other knives are carefully washed by hand. It gets heavy use from a large family but not "hard" use at all. The scratches are thin ones - like someone took a diamond coated blade and cut the bottom. At this rate we are going to destroy this sink in no time. $1000 sink that isn't durable! Yikes. BTW: the warranty specifically does not cover scratches.

M53, my name is Jessica with Kohler Customer Service. I am sorry to hear of this and happy to assist. If you are unable to feel the "scratches" they would be what are called pot marks. Pot marks are caused by metal objects (most commonly aluminum cookware) striking the enameled surface and are not a manufacturing defect. Pots, pans, and utensils may leave the metal marks on sink surfaces because the thick layer of fire-polished enameled surface is harder than the cookware. The pot marks look like scratches, but they do not penetrate the enameled surface. To clean these marks, apply a small amount of Kohler Cast Iron Cleaner (#1012525) to the marks. Use a soft cloth or cork to gently rub the marks away. Please contact our Customer Service team at KohlerCustServ@kohler.com if we can be of further assistance. We're glad to help! - Jessica P.
