Sink scratches VERY easily
We have had this sink for 3 years or more now... it is a beautiful sink like others say. I bought it because of the cast iron and the Kohler video of not getting nicks when pans are dropped in it. All I can say is, DON'T even THINK of setting an aluminum or stainless steel pan in this sink as you wash/rinse it. It leaves SCRATCHES very easily that are hard to get out even with the Kohler cleaner. We are very careful (meticulous) with our counters/kitchen and this sink is a disappointment. It looks good - buy you better have rubber mats in it if you don't want it all scratched up. It also stains very easily. Going back to Stainless for the next one. Sorry Kohler - usually you have great products. Your video is also VERY misleading.

Kohlerowner, my name is Sarah with Kohler Co. I am sorry to hear you are having a trouble cleaning your Cast Iron sink. Cast Iron scratches are caused by metal objects striking the enameled surface. Most commonly, these are marks from aluminum pots and pans that look like scratches. However, they do not penetrate the enameled surface and can be cleaned.
To remove pot marks, you can make a paste using Comet cleanser and water. Apply to the affected areas and scrub using a cork. Using a cork allows you to apply more pressure than possible using a cloth or sponge. Let stand 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Kohler Cast Iron Cleaner and Barkeeper's Friend can also be used. Beautiful sink! Really brightens up the kitchen, and catches your eye. Quality finish and craftsmanship are evident. Very happy with our choice!

Beautiful Sink
The order took 3 weeks to get we had it shipped to our Home Depot Store. Two days after installation a corner chipped off the top of the sink it was a manufacture flaw. Home depot order us another sink and got that one to us in 10 days and they had it delivered to our home this time. It's very heavy sink and had to do some plumbing as the drains are in the back of it not the center but it is really easy to clean and always looks great. It's deep enough for just about everything. The smaller sink side does not hold a dinner plate flat so it has taken some time to get used to that but I would buy the sink again if I had to.

Even better than I expected
The pictures do not do it justice, this sink is beautiful! While the color (mine is black) makes water spots more noticeable, it cleans up easily with a quick swipe with a damp sponge. The main basin is large enough to hold a 10" frying pan without teetering on an edge and the smaller basin is still a decent size for small plates, glasses & silverware. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this sink.

Looks great
Sink on left is huge! Large enough for those big pots of yours. Right side is a little small though if you plan on rinsing dishes in it. All in all though I love it.
