A person buys this model because they need a heavy-duty "Al Bundy" flush. Although it has an overall look of quality, the interior works are cheap and poorly designed. The main problem is that it has a heavy flap in the tank that flops down over the tank outlet opening as soon as you let go of the handle. Consequently the tank only empties about 4 of the 6 gallons before it seals and starts to refill. If you need the complete flush, which is why you shelled out $500 in the first place, you have to stand there holding the handle down until the tank completely empties. We've tried several different floats to keep this from happening but we havn't been able to find anything with enought bouancy to counter-act the weight of the flap.
