Missing heater. Ridiculously Cheap Looking Removable Panel.
I paid for the heater. the box says there's a heater. There is no heater. The removable panel is a piece of flat plastic cut to the shape of the nice rounded over panel next to it, except it's not rounded over, it fits loosely, and you can see the cut marks. Not at all what you would expect for $2,500.00 from Kohler.

Nice tub
The tub is very comfortable; however, we discovered a small leak behind the panel about a month after install. It appears to have been leaking right inside the panel and caused some damage to the wood supports. Home Depot is replacing the unit; however, I am not looking forward to the residual tile work this will cause but it will be nice to have a working tub. Be sure to check inside the panel to make sure this tub is not leaking!!

Wow
This tub is really great. The air and water action is intense. You must have the heater. One big problem: After a half hour or more in the tub, you are so relaxed you can barely get out of it and get to bed. Tub is not as heavy as I expected, two people can handled it easy.. Shipping was a week earlier than stated and truck came right to our door. No problems. Price was less than that at local lumber company.

I purchased the Kohler Devonshire Whirlpool tub online and was very pleased with everything from the FREE shipping, directly into my livingroom, to the fantastic performance of the tub. My contractor had such an easy time installing and hooking it up!
