Great valued installs solid

We've had it for about a month. We wanted something simple, attractive, easy to install, compatible with our other fixtures. This qualified. It's good value, but not a bargain. Screw anchors were needed for our tile walls.

This bar was easy to install and looks great. The diameter is the perfect size to enable a firm hand grip.

We are pleased with this Grab Bar - like the fact that the screws are hidden!

It is the perfect size. We already had 2 18” grab bars in the shower and just needed a small one to help stepping into the shower. 9” was too small and 18” was just a little to large. The 12” is just right.

Could not be used with metal studs

very upset. The instructions said to use a 3/16" drill bit which I had to pay $10 for. Once holes were drilled, the included screws were too small for the drilled holes. Now, I have holes in my ceramic tile AND the cement backing. I will have to go back out again, buy bigger screws that fit in the grab bar holes, come home again to install the thing once and for all. This should have been an easy install but it has taken a lot of my time to retrofit the solution. Bad move on the part of Kohler. I called Kohler to report the issue. I waited on hold for 15 minutes to speak to a human being. Customer Service rep. Monique was rude beyond belief, put me on hold again and then transferred my to the Technical Dept. which was the number I pressed in the call tree in the first place. 30 minutes later, Kohlet tells me that I should have only drilled through the ceramic tile. Problem is I had to also drill through the concrete backing. I will now use wall anchors, different screws and different drill bits because Kohler should know that not everyone puts tile against drywall or wood. Huge pain, poor instructions!
