My contractor went to install our tub and there are dimples all over the tub...it is literally bumpy and there is a chunk missing from the bottom. How was this packaged without noticing these defects?

returned tub - Dimpled finish, damaged
Returned due to common complaint - dimpled finish and poor quality control - imperfections in glaze, looked like rust chips fell in tub and got glazed over. I was afraid a second tub would look similar so swapped for an acrylic tub instead.

Beautiful finish
I ordered this tub from a box store and it arrived very quickly. I am extremely happy with the smooth enamel finish. It weights 377# 's so I hired movers to get it upstairs in my home. Once in the bathroom I was able to slide it around and into place by myself.

Beautiful Tub
Well built tub, arrived with no issues. There is some orange peel along the apron but that’s to be expected with cast iron. If this bothers you I suggest an acrylic option. I’m constantly receiving compliments to the beauty of this tub.

Cracked on delivery
Just received this tub. There was a 3 inch crack in the apron that was enameled over, so it definitely happened in the factory. Now the job is held up while I try to find a different solution.

disappointing quality
We received our first Bellwether tub in a sad state. It was not well crated, filthy and visibly chipped on the perimeter. touch ups would take care of the perimeter chipping....but upon cleaning the tub before heaving up a flight of stairs, I found numerous cracks in the glaze and significant orange peel in the finish. Fingers crossed the second one arrives quickly with far better quality of production and delivery.
