    A waste of money?
We bought this tub for our guest bath renovation. We wanted a high end bathroom, a spa like experience for our guests. The tub is very pleasing to the eye. The shape and the overflow drain allows for a very comfortable bathing experience, even for my 6'5" husband. It is also very slick looking. However, the non air bath version is only $750. The air bath is a non-event. It is not therapeutic, its not fun, it just bubbles. I love the tub, but I would save the money and get the standard one if I had it to do over. We have a hot tub outside and that is therapeutic, this is just not. Perhaps the whirlpool would be better, but this might be nicer if it had the lower effervescent setting that it shows on the Kohler website -- It is not like taking a bath in champagne....

      Solid choice
This tub is a good choice if you're not looking for a full whirlpool experience. The jets are air bubbles - not water - which provides only a gentle massage and lots of effervescence. There is a small air heater which mainly keeps the water from cooling too rapidly. We chose the bubblemassage because we don't use the tub every day - no water remains in the jets after use to get stagnant and moldy. We can use bubble bath and oil and it cleans up easily. About 20 minutes after you shut it off, a purge cycle blows air out of the jets to clear out remaining water. The look is smooth glossy white throughout with the floor being slightly bumpy (like an orange peel). The jets are tiny, about 1mm across. Since the motor blows only air and does not pump water, it is quieter than a whirlpool bath. Note if you're taller than 5'6" you might find this 5' tub too short to lie comfortably.

      Great Tub!
I purchased this tub as a replacement to a tub/shower unit. The install was fairly easy, but completed by a licensed plumber and electrician. I don't think this would be a DIY project. The tub step in height is nice, not too high, but still has an amazing deep soak, and the width of a normal tub, but feels larger once inside. The airjets are powerful and provide the perfect amount of massage. The inline heater will not warm up the water, but does a decent job of keeping a level temp without cooling off too much. I ordered this online, with free shipping to my house, it was delivered within 5 days to the front of my house on a wooden pallet. It was light-weight and easy to move. My 2-year old loves her new "bubble tub."
